I watched Parasite recently. So so so good.

Is it dubbed or subbed?

Tom Hanks doing a Western...ok yeah sign me the fuck up for that one!

News of the World.

I'm 90% looking forward to it but the premise and trailer make me worry they're going to lean into 'Native American uncultured savage' bullshit racist tropes or at the very least ignore the implication entirely and just use her background as a kind of reverse-mcguffin and I hope like fuck they swerve either of those options.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

I was warned but watched it anyway. Live action Mulan is shite. Bad storytelling, I think the entire point of female empowerment is actually undone by the way they went about it.

Gosh darnit! Young Frankenstein is such an excellent movie. I don't think they make movies like that anymore. It's hard to find any flaws. And I don't think they make actors like Gene Wilder anymore. When I see his performance in movies it is glaringly obvious how talented he was compared to any current actors. His deadpan comedy stylings are unmatched. And he could do it all; dance, sing, you name it. It's a treat to once in awhile set aside some time and watch these older movies.

LOTR fans.

The horses that Viggo Mortenson rode in the films and that he kept after filming....have passed away.

This makes me sad.

Awww darn my sentimentality, but watching Home Alone this time of year is like cozying in with a warm bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich.
