Good choice. I mean, they should stop making Batman movies for a while, so in that sense it's not a good choice, but he's someone who can do both Bruce & Bats well probably.

Yeah I like that casting if it goes through. Got some similarities to the Keaton casting back in the day.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Yeah, I’m less worried about Pattinson, and more about their ability to put out a quality film.

I think Pattinson is a solid choice actually. He's got the suave Bruce Wayne thing down, and he's young enough to make him a worthy multi-film Bats....the question will be if he can nail Batman and not just Wayne.

Still, I'm down.

I just wonder how many people truly care about this DC stuff anymore though. Sure the hardcore but I think the majority of casuals checked out after “MARTHA!”

Perhaps you missed a little film called AQUAMAN that made a bajillion dollars over Xmas BK? LOL

Nicholas Hoult is also in the running too. Think I would prefer Pattinson... can't believe I just said that!

Water For Elephants, Cosmopolis, Lost city of Z, Bel Ami, Queen of the Desert....amongst other stuff. It's not straight up hollywood big pictures stuff, but he's been something in the indie world for a while.

My take on Aquaman was that it would have been a far better film if they had done Aquaman 1 before JL. This would have eliminated the need for all the flashbacks and made the plot more coherent. Like how Willem Dafoe knew to find him there and train him.

This felt like two films spliced into 1.

But I really liked Tarzan Nicole Kidman.

This.

I suspect that if it fails, it won't be because Pattinson couldn't manage the role(s).

Zoë Kravitz will play Catwoman. Not sure about that decision. I've liked her in what I've seen her in, but I haven't really seen her lean hard into a role such that I've been impressed by her acting chops. Of course this is a dopey super hero movie, so she'll probably do just fine. So, I guess I'm taking a 'wait and see' posture on this news.

Paul Dano to play the Riddler, which is the point I signed on for this movie.

Now guys, I want you to contain yourselves. Settle yourselves and make sure you are calm and collected. I don't want to be responsible for any "incidents" by posting this.

Not a fan of the bat logo on his chest. It kinda looks like two utility knives on steroids with the handles placed back to each other.

Couldn't really get a vibe from the pics, but I've read comparisons to the muscle car era and the batmobile from the campy show from the 60s/70s

A teaser trailer for "The Batman" is supposed to drop this weekend at something called DC FanDome. Keep your ear to the ground and lets be one of the firsts. In other words, jump on that shiznit before it is placed on the window sill to cool.

Apparently there's going to be multiple Batmen in a Flash movie or something ...

I didn't mind Batfleck actually. He does the world-weary, older Batman pretty well.
