Wow this way down! Saw Spider-Man 3, I liked it. Some weird pacing in the middle but all in all a good film that was enjoyable so I'm happy.

for once it wasn't me which was a pleasant surprise but a friend of mine pointed out after the movie if Iron man had access to thousands of combat drones why didn't he use them in Infanty war, or end game etc. I did point out though that once again Iron Man essentially created the problem that the heroes solves. One that just occurred to me know though is, even if Iron Man built it why would the US government let him control a space based weapon system.

One thing that also only hit me hours later is that despite a quick coverage of the blip and how it really changed the world, one guy says his younger brother is now his older brother the movie quickly normalizes and moves past this and you never really think about it again. Except that's crazy. Half the world vanished overnight and five years later reappeared. The world will never be normal again. Everyone should be confused, traumatized. There should be riots, looting. Initially demand would have outstripped supply but five years down the line supply would have been in line for half the population. The economy would crash, food riots, queues for water. The courts would be overloaded with law suits of people demanding their stuff back and others refusing to give back their loot.

And Feige said that was intentional as it FORCES the writers going forward into entirely new territory writing Spider-man.

when specifically Fury went off-planet. I saw somewhere that they made a case for Fury actually being Talos already in the last 2-3 films that he had appeared in. and there is some compelling evidence for this, e.g. in Captian Marvel he tells Marvel that he will never eat sandwiches cut triangularly, whereas in Endgame you see Fury eat a triangular sandwich.

The Eternals - hmm, OK. Not a story I really paid much attention to. Some interesting casting choices, but like I said, as I didn't pay much attention I have no preconceptions.

Blade - Mahershala Ali! Cooooooool.

Shang-Chi - low profile character and very low profile actor. The Ten Rings and The (real) Mandarin. Could be good, wait and see.

Thor 4: Love and Thunder (blerk) aka the return of Jane Porter. Mixed feelings. Didn't Nat Portman say she didn't want to be part of it after Thor 2?

Dr Strange 2 - More Cumberbatch is good.

Black Widow - could be good, but is it really necessary? Still, I like the character. Rachel Weisz as a villain though - interesting.

Plus Black Panther 2, GotG 3, Captain Marvel 2.

TV Shows

Loki - Awww yeahhhh. Please write it well though, don't turn him into a pussy.

Wandavision - ugh, no. Not a fan of either.

Falcon (Cap?) + Winter Soldier - hmmm ... Zemo is going to be in it. We'll see.

Hawkeye - not sure as well. Depends what genre they try to make it, spy or straight out action.

What If ... ? - Liked most of the comics, apparently going to have Twilight Zone feel.

Vague refs to Mutants and Fantastic Four.

I'm sure all the hardcore nerd sites will have more info and speculation.

I'm excited about this cause Simu Liu is from Mississauga, and I loved him in Kim's Convenience. So far, this is the only Phase 4 movie with new superheroes that I'm excited about, and it's just cause CANADIAN!
