I've never understood the big deal about presale tickets for the big blockbuster movies: I just bought tickets last night for a showing tonight. (Maybe it doesn't hurt that our theater has a showing every 45 minutes?) And I dunno why, but our local AMC has been dirt cheap the last couple times we've been there: Friday night tickets for $6, kids for $4. $23 after taxes for the family and we had a $25 gift card, woo!

Those prices are insane.

Those are like Sunday 11AM for movies only showing on 1 screen prices.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Right? The other theater we go to regularly has the nice leather reclining chairs, and it's like $12/9 for the same timeslot. (Guess which one the kids prefer?)

No, she is powerful, that is it.

And though it hurts, you'll laugh

Just track down the Captain Marvel post-credit scene on YouTube and you'll be set.

Still haven't seen Endgame. Think I might not.

I liked the Thanos ending too much. Don't want to ruin it.

Wow this way down! Saw Spider-Man 3, I liked it. Some weird pacing in the middle but all in all a good film that was enjoyable so I'm happy.

One thing

I love that FFH essentially ends the MCU Phase 1-3 arc epilogue with

Spoiler

And Feige said that was intentional as it FORCES the writers going forward into entirely new territory writing Spider-man.

Funny, I brought up that exact same point with my mate last night who I watched it with, mirrors it perfectly.

Now imagine if the title of the next Spiderman film is...

Spoiler

But I hope that they don't jump in to that - way too soon for any real emotional impact.

Also re the End Credits...

Interesting to find out

Spoiler

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

If they even think about doing One More fucking Day they can fuck all of the off

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Highly unlikely.

I figure we get The Clone Saga and Maximum Carnage first.
Maybe Round Robin The Sidekicks' Revenge.

Phase 4 list:

https://www.news.com...d2b197fd2215056

Films

The Eternals - hmm, OK. Not a story I really paid much attention to. Some interesting casting choices, but like I said, as I didn't pay much attention I have no preconceptions.

Blade - Mahershala Ali! Cooooooool.

Shang-Chi - low profile character and very low profile actor. The Ten Rings and The (real) Mandarin. Could be good, wait and see.

Thor 4: Love and Thunder (blerk) aka the return of Jane Porter. Mixed feelings. Didn't Nat Portman say she didn't want to be part of it after Thor 2?

Dr Strange 2 - More Cumberbatch is good.

Black Widow - could be good, but is it really necessary? Still, I like the character. Rachel Weisz as a villain though - interesting.

Plus Black Panther 2, GotG 3, Captain Marvel 2.

TV Shows

Loki - Awww yeahhhh. Please write it well though, don't turn him into a pussy.

Wandavision - ugh, no. Not a fan of either.

Falcon (Cap?) + Winter Soldier - hmmm ... Zemo is going to be in it. We'll see.

Hawkeye - not sure as well. Depends what genre they try to make it, spy or straight out action.

What If ... ? - Liked most of the comics, apparently going to have Twilight Zone feel.

Vague refs to Mutants and Fantastic Four.

I'm sure all the hardcore nerd sites will have more info and speculation.

Shouldn't this be in a new phase 4 thread?

Absolutely, Mr Important 100+ Hours Per Week Manager Sir! You've changed, man. You've become ... successful. It's like I don't even know you any more. :)

I'm recycling.

But hey, if a mod wants to split it off into a new thread, who am I to argue?

The TV shows will actually have the movie actors? That must be half the budget right there

I'm excited about this cause Simu Liu is from Mississauga, and I loved him in Kim's Convenience. So far, this is the only Phase 4 movie with new superheroes that I'm excited about, and it's just cause CANADIAN!
