Watched Beyond the Sea yesterday.

Decent directing debut for spacey. Nothing exceptional, though.

As far as comic book adaptions go i thought hellboy was pretty damn decent.

Better than spider man or daredevil etc.

And sony are really shooting themselves in the leg by delaying it for so long.

WooooooooHoooooooooooo's!!! Saw Predator 2 AGAIN last night. But it was the director's cut and had shedloads of stuff I'd never seen before. Was called in halfway through a game of AVP2 and then resumed it after the movie. Had to kill the preds and dodge the discs Posted Image!!!

Saw that recently, really good except that all the performances sucked, heh. Great story though.

blade trinity should be out here before the end of the year- the third's of trilogies are usually worst, but... you can't really go wrong with blade's storyline. saw Desperado recently- great movie. i'm tryin to find El mariachi. i'm also tryin to learn 'el cancion del mariachi'; the song antonio banderas plays at the beginning in which he hits that guy over the head with the guitar. it's tough, but...

saw 21 grams too, new film by the amorres perros guy. not great, to be honest.

well i like a variety of things
i'm not very picky, i just like good quality, which is the most important thing.

i know its late, but just thought i'd warn people not to watch REsident Evil Apocalypse. it was a real big disappointment compaired to the first one and it made no sense. the only good thing about it was the fight scenes.

TP boys X-mas special was hilarious, never got to see the beginning though

saw American History X and The Usual Suspects this week. AMX was very well done, edward norton did a great job, but some parts were way too simplistic. The Usual Suspects....this movie was abso-freakin-lutely amazing, i LOVED the ending and it was even better the 2nd time i watched it. I gained alot of respect for Kevin Spacey as an actor, awesome plot, great acting from all the characters 9.5/10

hmm i wasnt a big fan of the village, especially sincei guessed the "big twist" like a quarter of the way into the movie. He's just a bit too formulaic.

hmmm what have i seen lately

Rocky Horror Picture Show - uh....huh. entertaining in a "what the ****?" kind of way

Anchorman - hilarious

Rush Hour 2 - seen it before, still think its pretty funny

The Eagle Has Landed - cool movie, only had it on in the background, have to watch it again and pay attention.

Ye my dad got me to watch Riddick (wouldnt have watched it otherwise). Anyways I went watching it quite sceptical on whether or not if it would be any good.
It actually wasnt that bad in the end, some of it was a little corny, but nothing was overdone I think.

Better than I expected in the end, but still just alright.

Loosecannon, a Bruckheimer movie is style. Fantasy is substance. Big difference. There really isn't that much irony. Some people are really turned off by fantasy elements and everything that goes along with them. So substatively Bruckheimer will make a more realistic film, but you're right. It's sure to contain all the artificial stylings of a Bruckheimer movie. Then again, there's no such thing as realistic drama. It's all conventions. Some people just more readily accept some than others.

I used to love Bruckheimer movies before his co-producer Don Simpson died...

Constantine, like most movie adaptions of cult comics, will suck.

I saw "Der Untergang" today. Really good film, but a rather sad ending. Everybody died, and the Boys from Brazil wasn't even mentioned.
