Sarah Connor sounds so much more intimidating with that heavy smoker's voice.
On the real tip though, Linda Hamilton is looking and sounding crusty and crispy AF. I guess years and years of heavy smoking will do that (with probably quite a few of those years with crack and meth thrown in for good measure). I wouldn't put her in anything if I was running production, but you do you movie magic guys.

Another grand slam from Malan on the topic of women in movies he refuses to masturbate to.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Early reviews of Joker are very positive.
Told you fuckers it was going to be good.
Won't be out in Denmark before October unfortunately.

Lol. It's very possible the movie is good. I'm still w/ QT on the concept behind a Joker origin story (unless this movie throws in a mighty interesting twist), but I'm still certainly gonna give it a shot 'for what it is' anyway. And what it seems to be is a combination of Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy? They even got De Niro in it. At least this Joker doesn't have Demented As All Heck tattooed on his forehead.

I think I read in a review that there's an implication that there's a blurring of reality and insanity, truth and fiction but that might just be the viewer reading too much into the picture.
I agree though, Joker should not have an origin story. He should just exist.

Went to see Once Upon a Time...in Holywood yesterday. Awesome film, with some absolutely stellar acting. Bit torn about the ending though...
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Finally! Someone else has been.
Spoiler
Loved it. I didn't mind the ending but then I couldn't really give a shit about the real life subject matter.

Oh, it wasn't so much the 'alternative history' angle, he did that before (Inglorious basterds). I just always get a bit uncomfortable with QT's penchant for excessive violence towards women.

I quite liked it in this case but I did say going into the movie that I was in the mood for some ultra violence. And it did mean he had an excuse to bring out that bitchin movie prop.

Super Troopers 2: not very funny to me (had a couple great gags, but also some pretty lame ones and mostly just mild ones), but the Broken Lizard guys are affable and Brian Cox rules so it still wasn't a chore. Then again I watched it in half hour chunks before bed instead of in one go.
Chopping Mall: classic. Hadn't seen it since the early 90s, still has plenty of charm. Some of the deaths could have been more creative, but the ones that go hard are awesome.

Can't believe no one has posted this yet. I fucking LOVE these movies, so I am down for this.

Saw a gif that had a clip from Bahubali and it looked amazing. Anyone seen it and is it cool or cheesy?
I've got $50 that says Amph has seen it.

Damnit, I have not. I did watch like 26 VHS tapes of the original Mahabharata tv mini series, which were a "much tamer in today's view" version of that entertaining nonsense. It is always worth watching this stuff to see the ways they get around obvious budget limits and the goofy "superhero" stuff.
I assume you're talking about the palm tree catapult assault squads clip, right?
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

That phrase alone is suitably intriguing.
