Are you serious? Battle Royale is a classic! So much so that the Hunger Games woman was almost accused of plagiarism.

Just don't watch the follow up it's not nearly as good.

Don't forget that the film itself is based on a book, which I read when I was 11.

My first time. My Battle Royale cherry has been busted. And I didn't see it coming, knew nothing about what was going to occur. It was like having actual sex for the first time. Posted Image

Oh man if there was a list of films I'd have loved to have gone in blind to see Battle Royale is like top 5, easy
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

New trailer for Rambo: Last Blood.

http://youtu.be/4vWg5yJuWfs

Looks like he's fighting a narco cartel.

It's a waste I think. That story is a dime a dozen. They should had gone back to the movies roots instead.

The first story was a human tragedy about a Vietnam vet that snaps and takes on the man. It was a believable and well told story that showed that Stallone wasn't just a Meathead.

Why not return to that story and drop the generic action movie plot?

Why not return to the middle of Rambo's story?

Took my boy to see Godzilla.

It was fun, even though they totally wasted the actors, the story was beyond dumb, there were about a million plotholes and continuity errors, and only about 5 people seemed to be in charge of everything from beginning to end.

That said... King Ghidora was magnificent.
Likewise, many of the shots. The music when G rises from the sea... and so many other little nods for Godzilla fans which were appreciated even though not everyone will notice them.

Pity about the ending too, but hey, it's a Godzilla movie.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

How to Train Your Dragon 3: I skipped over earlier mentions of this, so apologies if I'm repeating other people's thoughts, but this movie didn't make a whole lot of sense. It had some good ideas, character moments, and even visuals, but it strung them together in ways that undercut the overall logic of what was happening and dulled the urgency and emotional impact. That said, there were a few standout scenes that are among the best in the series, and Toothless remains adorable. Mixed bag.

Normally Worry and I disagree about movies from opposing angles.

This time, I think he's right. It's a great movie in parts, and in others a bit muddled, but it wins home with the end for me as both the wife and I got weepy.

I think the middle film is the best of the trilogy.

I guess I was expecting a run-of-the-mill kung fu flick or something similar. But damn, when the drugged students wake up on the bus and things kick off from there, I was all like "what the frick am I watching!".

Glad I saw it with subtitles and not some cheesy dubbing. There were some amazing performances in the film and voice dubbing would have ruined it. This movie will resonate with me for awhile.

Watched Scott Pilgrim. No nothing of the source material, vaguely knew it was a quirky? Film. Thoroughly enjoyed it, the weirdness is well managed into the style of the film

No, David Bowie was in Labyrinth.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

You're probably thinking of "Labyrinth" with Jennifer Connolly.

This movie very much reminded me of Krull and Neverending Story. This was a legit freaky unchildlike children movie. Gave me the creeps in quite a few cases I won’t lie.

Will watch trailer now on 65in if I can.

Produced in the same era, same sorts of effects and cinematography.

EDIT: Damn, GF beat me to it.
