Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I still say beer served in a bacon-mug is purest win when we're discussing mergers, but the level of frying sophistication necessary to assemble an effective beer-tight bacon mug is beyond most peoples, requiring years of practice and a masterful level of bacon-weaving skills, usually while drunk. Ensuring the beer does not leak thru the weave while requiring only a single layer is daunting, to say nothing of integrating the stable bacon mug handle...

That said, beer instead of oil or butter as a frying medium for bacon is pure win.

- Abyss, ...try it, you'll thank me.

Easy to win. Form then Fry. Save the grease and pour your beer. Done.

what he said, it's like HP sauce but it's not a 'special occasion' condiment here.

So bacon is the remora of meat? It must suckle upon the bigger, stronger meats to survive, as it is not good enough to survive upon its own?
...

Not at all. Bacon can stand on its own bacony feet, stand pround and tall amongst other titans of the meat world.

But if we had rep-powers i would rep you for the "bacon is the remora of meat" thing because that made me laugh.

I live in Canada, and am pretty sure I've not had the round 'Canadian' bacon. That stuff is pretty much balogna.

Pretty much. Canadian bacon has its place but i have to admit that notwithstanding being a proud canuck i always feel silly calling it 'bacon'.

That's flawed logic because you are Canadian and talking meat and therefore untrustworthy.

Not so easy - unlike the bacon bowl (google it) which doesn't need to be liquid-tight and can be formed around a steel bowl, the bacon-mug must be free-formed in order for the handle to function, yet retain it's shape.

I imagine a sort of staged process would work... assemble the base, handle and mug body, semi-fry, attach with more bacon and then fry for the final form...
