So I had a check up appointment with my pulmonologist on Thursday. Sshe's says everything's great but offers me meds for my cough. I heroically say nah thanks, it'll be gone in a few days anyway. Guess who came down with a nasty cold and the cough of death yesterday? I hate my overconfident mouth sometimes.

This... is not my day. First I dat at the doctor's office for two hours first thing in the morning because the cough of death won't go away. On the way to work, the sole of one of my shoes decided to divorce said shoe. Had to buy instant glue and have that stuff all over my hands. Hate the feeling. At least hopefully the shoe will hold until this evening. Now, I am at work and surprise, U cannot log in to my work account. Fml.

Service in my country is embarresing. No one ever does more than they have to.

I just got to the UK embassy (in an office park) to be told they have no power and I should come back at twelve Thirty. I drove through traffic in the rain for over half an hour to get there. I had an appointment, they have my Number. Surely someone could have phoned to warn me. In a world of laptops and cellphones this was not mission impossible. It is surely slightly more effort than sitting in a chair by the ground floor elevator telling people they wasted there time though.

I asked for a number to call to confirm power is back at twelve thirty before I drive all the way back. The women answered me that I should just came at one then to be safe. Or you could give me the bloody number and Ill call first to confirm.

and it seems our fire alarm installers don't even know their basic fucking regs. with the spolit shifts going on this week I havent been able to keep a tight eye on what they're at, took a walk last night and it's a fucking abysmal standard of work for a start, and doesn't pass muster for building control for a second.

Why are people so fucking useless at their jobs?
Why can't I ever get a decent full team on site?

I got into it on the Facebook malazan with someone being toxic to a level I honestly wonder if they have a personality disorder. The reason? Someone mentioned that they didn’t want to tell what books they like better than malazan because they were afraid of someone jumping on their ass about it. Guess what, someone immediately jumped on their ass for daring to like something better than SE. And people wonder why we have a bad reputation as a fandom.
