Holy geez you're right. Apologies ma'am.
3 months ago I had to replace the transmission in my wifes Traverse. About $5,000.
Today the transmission went out in my Chrysler van.
Awesome.....
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

I got into it on the Facebook malazan with someone being toxic to a level I honestly wonder if they have a personality disorder. The reason? Someone mentioned that they didn't want to tell what books they like better than malazan because they were afraid of someone jumping on their ass about it. Guess what, someone immediately jumped on their ass for daring to like something better than SE. And people wonder why we have a bad reputation as a fandom.
Just seen it. Yikes.

It was a lady and I don’t think she did get banned. Yes abyss, she pulled the ol “if he isn’t your favorite you must be too simple to understand it” card.

“There is no one better than Erikson, that's why you can't give direct answer who is better in your opinion. If you are not impressed and smitten with the second book - I guess the series is not for you - read something simpler and easier.”
“ Oh please, no need of insults and such touchiness. By your response it's fairly obvious you are not ready for Erikson. If you were sure of those authors' equal writing to Erikson's, you would name them instead of being all vague and enigmatic. And by the way - the Divine Comedy, which I've also read, has nothing on Malazan!”
“You can't break your neck looking down on someone - trust us, Erikson's devotees, on that. Abercrombie really sucks, but Sanderson produces a very decent work every now and then, though even he can't boast of writing such a masterpiece series as Malazan!”
And so on.

Part of me really wants to join just to pick fights with this trash.
Part of me despises Facebook and can't be bothered.
And part of me wants to use the orbital death/defenestration/dyspepsia array.

So my countries government run electricity producer which has a monopoly to produce and sell electivity in my country is 50 Billion dollars in debt, not currently profitable, borrowing money to service pre-existing debt and the stations have not been maintained properly in decades. They have currently plunged my country into rolling blackouts again! when 40% of the generating power all tripped at once.
In related news they employ 50,000 people which turn around investigations have reported is approx. 25,000 people more than needed however government has promised not to fire anybody because that would cost them union votes! 50% of the staff are not needed! How does that happen!
No Weepers on the Slog!
Wrong book?

I love this type of comment. Its not really a debate, its a need for attention and validation

I hate that sort of attitude - the "if you don't like X you're obviously not clever enough to appreciate it". As Cause said, it's like a desperate plea for validation of their own intellect.

It wasn't me on facebook, I swear!
But in all seriousness, while my attitude towards Malazan is pretty well known if one frequents the book forums, this is just ridiculous. Tastes differ, you idiot.
Messing with my groove is that after every damned Windows update, I have to recalibrate my screen. Fml.
