It is amazing. I like the little trains on the tracks above the book shelves.

Nabbed STAR TREK: DESTINY omnibus by David Mack (contains trilogy GODS OF NIGHT, MERE MORTALS, and LOST SOULS) for $14 on kindle as I've always heard good things. All Good Things of course.

Loved this series when I read them as a teenager. Waiting for some opportune ebooks sale/library acquisition to do a reread.

Book Girl and the Suicidal Mime. Light novel series about a librarian girl who is actually a demon who eats books. Seems like it could be fun.
Am seriously considering getting individual volumes of LOTR - my omnibus edition is a first edition omnibus from like 1965 or something, and it's falling to bits.

So. I'm currently living at my parents on the Isle of Man while we look for a place to buy over here. My dad is currently sorting through the attic and there's tons of books knocking about. I've got a big family and most of us are pretty prolific readers so there's many styles and authors (found book 4 of Otherland but not the first 3, annoyingly...)
In and amongst stuff he'll be taking to the charity shops when they reopen is the book Touch by Claire North.
No idea who bought that and neither of my parents have the faintest clue where its come from. It's now mine! Which is great cos I was going to buy it on Kindle soon anyway!
Feels good man.

I knew THAT was coming.
Coincidentally, a phrase often heard in your truck.
"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes
"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys
"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

I know the general direction Canada is in if this sucks.
Your truck would never get past the border's toxic waste scan.
...but I haven't read any of it yet, to be clear. The concept was just so glorious I couldn't resist, more or less sight unseen, tho a few reviewers I trust have liked.
