Because fake-anti-glutenites (as opposed to people with a genuine allergy or sensitivity) are INSANE.

Tomorrow for only 5 dollars I will go to IHOP and I will eat bacon, eggs and all the pancakes I can eat. It will be many! So many.

Chick fil a is great. Popeyes is a poor substitute.

The American museum of natural history remains incredible! Did not realize the planetarium has been playing the same movie for seven years. Though so seen it twice, three times actually because it’s the same video in the British science museum. Finally a new planetarium movie on the 18th. Yay.

I really want to go see Niagara Falls but it’s gonna be freezing

Popeyes is kind of garbage though. I finally had that chicken sandwich that people have been getting punched in the face for. I wasn't impressed at all. I don't understand what all the hullabaloo is about, and why there is, still, long lines to get one.

Chick-fil-A on the other hand, it is hard to top their chicken, egg & cheese biscuit breakfast. Don't forget to ask to add bacon, that's a must. You have to do some compromising of personal politics with Chick-fil-A though. You have to ignore their outright homophobic stance on matters of who people love and want to marry. They aren't open on Sundays. And they train their staff to say 'my pleasure' waaaaaay too much.

@slow Ben: Did I fucking stutter! Chick fil a for life! Let’s fight

The chicken sandwich at Popeyes is nice but nothing to fight over. At chick fil a I had the grilled chicken sandwich, waffle fries and honey mustard sauce. Honey mustard sauce is where it’s at!

Actually see there’s a pretty decent promo at Popeyes. 4 dollars for 3 tenders (chicken strips right), chips and a biscuit. Which begs the question what is a Popeyes biscuit? It’s like a roll? A scone? What?

Popeyes biscuits are.... um, biscuits. And they sort of are crap too. If you eat them later in the meal, they usually are hard as a rock, so make sure to nibble on them as you chow down on the other parts.

But you're doing Popeyes wrong anyway. I mean, it is mostly crap, but if you have to have it, then go with a three piece meal, spicy and ask for two thighs and a drumstick. And request the Louisana hot sauce packets, because their spicy, really isn't spicy, imo. Get red beans and rice as a side. Stay away from the cajun fries, they are absolute crap. And I would say give the mashed potatoes and and cajun gravy a pass as well, too many times it's been inconsistent when I've tried it. Instead, if you want a second side, go for the macaroni and cheese.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

TL;DR Popeyes is mostly crap. There are better options. In fact, don't poison yourself with fast food as a genral rule of thumb.

Macaroni as a side is one American thing I can’t get behind. It’s abnormal behavior.

For chain fried chicken, I think popeyes is best. And you have to get the seasoning packets. I tried the sandwich though and it gave me serious bummy tummy.

No whisperzz No! I’ll tell them I’m fine, I swear. Please stop hurting me.

Hey guys, everything went well last night. We should def have a NYC meet up. Whisperzz has this cool basement we could use, it’s crowded but that’s only because it’s so cool no one ever leaves!

But yeah he is a cool guy and it was awesome to meet someone from the forum. Hearing him complain about bookshelf space, his fears that ebooks aren’t as good as real books.. It all made sense to me.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Also in South Africa its a bit of a problem. There are maybe four major banks and four major health care providers. So its not a monopoly but they also dont need to excatly fight tooth and nail. They know what sort of pricing they can get away with and everyone is happy. However, at least you can look at every plan and make a choice. Here in America there must be a hundred options!

I used the website vengeance posted above, they say while I am unemployed I qualify for subsidized health care which is great because fuck me its expensive, however I am wary of accepting any subsidies because I think it can effect my chances of getting citizenship. Not too sure.

Otherwise Amazon remains amazing, I hate my landlord company, there are some beautiful women in NYC, I have discovered I can apply for a NYC resident card and get all the museums, zoos, aquarium memberships for free! I hope I can get my membership to he nat history museum refunded but I doubt it.

I am slowly grasping how to shop for groceries, master the laundromat etc. Need to explore the city more!

With no job and no schedule my biggest problme which I am trying to fix is I keep waking up later and later and going to bed later and later. I tried taking a ZZZquil sleeping pill to force me to go to bed early and reset my clock but I still couldnt fall asleep.

If you think Popeyes is so great, you can now wear your passion and announce it to the world. Get silly with it, I won't judge. Posted ImagePosted Image
