Possibly was. Chelsea are the team mostly likely to be able to beat City on the day.

In the last month, Chelsea has beaten City twice and I'm afraid this will be to their detriment in the CL final. Pep has a vastly stronger team at his disposal, so he will learn from the two defeats and neutralize Tuchel's side.

Possibly. Whatever happens we'll post rationalise that it was coming.

All we know for sure is that John Terry has his kit on, and is ready for the win

This is the true answer to any speculation.

Woo, my team made it through to the final of the promotion play-offs! After four years on the 2nd tier of Dutch football we may finally be able to go back up again!! Sunday will be the clincher, but already the nerves are killing me. Makes a nice contrast to the two Sheffield teams who have both sadly relegated this season.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Oh, and Nuno Espiro Sante seems to be in the picture as new Tottenham coach. Interesting choice.

Four of the English teams who were part of the Super League project have qualified for the Champion's League. Anyone expecting any sanctions?

Aged like milk, lol. Tuchel had the upper hand after all. I have no idea what was Pep thinking, trying to play the CL final without a holding midfielder and without a striker. Absurd choice of tactics.

Not for them. UEFA has launched an official investigation only into Real Madrid, Barca, and Juventus. These three remain in opposition to UEFA and maintain SuperLeague will continue. Everyone else officially backed out of SuperLeague, apologized, and accepted the minimal financial sanctions imposed on them.

So where are heads getting thumped tonight? Lundin or Mancaster? Probably a little bit from column A, and a little bit from column B, yeah?

Euros starting this upcoming weekend. UA facing the toughest team in the group- the Netherlands first.

I'm hoping for a tie, so that we do not repeat the embarassment that was 2016.

As a Dutchman, I can confidently state that UA will win that match. We are absolute dogshite presently, one of the worst Netherlands sides I have encountered in my 40+ years on this earth. For a brief period last year it looked as if we were coming good again and actually return to being a global contender. But then Ronald Koeman went to coach Barcelona and his replacement Frank de Boer is an unmitigated disaster. Both the football and the results under De Boer have been tearjerkingly dire. On top of that we have also lost our captain (Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool) through injury and our first keeper (Jasper Cillissen) through Covid-19. It will be a miracle if we even finish second in this group, as I rate Austria higher than us as well. UA would be my easy pick to top this group, hands down. I think it is actually a big advantage as well that a lot of the players in your squad also play together at club level, as most other national teams will suffer from the standard short preparation time and players getting to know each other's qualities. But UA seems to be predominantly made up of Shaktar and Dynamo players.

Rarely have I had such low expectations going into a tournament. Apart perhaps from three years ago, but that was mainly on the basis that we didn't actually qualify for WC2018....

If you guys can find a replay, watch the USA vs. Mexico (Concacaf Nations League Final) match from Sunday.

The level is probably no where near the quality you'll see in the Euros, but damn that game had everything. It got to the point where there was stoppage for abuse chants. There were cups and debris being thrown at players and on the field. It was really aggressive. Mexico supporters are bonkers. And it took place in my neck of the woods in Denver at Mile High Stadium.

Impressive result for the US, beating Mexico. The team is really improving over the years and is turning into a serious contender. It obviously helps as well to have more and more players regularly playing at high levels in Europe (I still don't really rate the MLS, but what do I know?).

He seems okay. Don't understand why Denmark decided to play on though. But if that is what the players chose, it is their bed to lay in.

Jesus Christ, that was stressful.

Why in the word did Malynovskyi take that spot kick (which probably shouldn't have happened anyway).

I love his crosses, and he`s mostly okay at field game (except when he dribbles too much), but while his crosses are phenomenal, his accuracy tends to be poor.

Ah well. Now we need Netherlands to smash Austria to have a better chance. (Edit: Well, the GD is same, but we've got more goals for, so now we need to not lose to make it out)

At least the magic duo of Yarmolenko-Romanchuk firmly smashed the "no goals curse" we've had since Game 2 in 2012.

I wonder how CZE-CRO will go. Croatia is really struggling without a dedicated striker against well-organised teams, and the Czechs seem to be on fire.

Piss-poor game from Poland as well. When Lewandowski has to start your counter from half and then struggle to get on top... you know you've got issues.

Spain looks to be bubbling with raw young talent, but their finishing composure might not be all there.

France looks probably the strongest team so far. Which is a shame, since I'm not a fan.

Gonna be rooting for Belgium as my backup team once all the Slavs are out.
