Yeah, the additional break is a pain. But at least there is a full 22 episode season 2 instead of the 13 episodes they had in season 1. So 2 eps left before the break, and then back in may with the remaining 9 episodes.
Anyway, I'm still enjoying it. I do wish they would let him get angry and use his powers a bit more, but mostly i'm curious as to how they will resolve the mother storyline, and explain the significance of Chloe and Ella. I'm expecting a reveal for either the Chloe or Ella character in the winter finale.

Just watched that episode (mini binge of latest 3). Very interesting.
Although I don't know how much longer they can make episodes with what's going on. At this rate they'll be lucky to have another season's worth of story before jumping the shark.
EDIT:
and now I'm all caught up. Nice twist at the end of episode 17.

Finale? Only 18 eps this season? This would make only 5 eps since the break.

Just mini-binged eps 5,6 and 7. Good stuff.
Ep 7 about the reporter has to be one of the best episodes of any TV show I have ever seen. Really well done.

The show as a whole. I intended to start watching it when it began, but I never did. It always looked like something I'd really enjoy, and after reading this, I'm wanting to do so. I just need to make time.
I know it's the wrong thread and off topic, but I've enjoyed the newest season of Supernatural, which I had given up on for a couple seasons.

I haven't been active in this thread as Lucifer is a show, one of the few, that my wife and I watch together. We're usually 2 or 3 episodes behind.
So far, this season has been great. The Vegas episode is one of my all time favorites.

Hmmm, not too sure about the last 2 eps. Something seems a bit ... off. A bit rushed, or even "pat". I can't put my finger on it though.
Everyone's suddenly acting a bit out of character. New writers?
Unless this is just a big fake-out and they're setting us up for a twist even M Night Shyamalan didn't see coming.

3 weeks is at least 2 weeks too long.
Well that explained a few things.
I still think that drama-lite procedurals should still have some element of proper police procedures and accountability. I mean, the number of times the main cast would be thrown in jail or at least fired from the force for basic errors and wilful misconduct is staggering.
Yeah yeah, never let logic get in the way of a good story (otherwise most wouldn't last very long and would have a much less satisfying ending). But sometimes it's jarring enough to spoil my immersion.
Goes for a lot of shows and movies.

Yeah, really good ep - the Mrs and I were laughing out loud quite a few times.
Loved the kryptonite ref to Tom Wellings. Plus all the double-entendres.

Another solid season from Lucifer. Cain has his plan and a we get some love triangle hi-jinks coming up!

God damn it (pun only half intended)! Drawing out the 'will-they-or-won't-they?' love triangle crap detracts from the more interesting parts of the show and brings it back to just another procedural-lite. I don't know how they can keep a straight face delivering some of those saccharine lines.
They need to get back on metaphysical track and mimimise the soppy shit.

well, the cliffhanger was largely ignored.
First one was a fairly average episode i thought, but the second was a glorious "what if" with Neil Gaiman (NEIL GAIMAN!) doing voice over work as Lucifers' dad / god - which was just so meta that (for me at least) it was mind-blowing.
