Man. I really think you've all gone pasture best now. I've herd enough. And in defense of dragoncows, at least they can flamegrill their own ribs. Although I would prefer it if they had claws instead of hooves, but of course they lack toes. At least they have some striking calf muscles.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I feel like if Rothfuss cut approximately 40% of Wise Man's Fear, it would not effect the story in the slightest...

You fool! How else would Kvothe know exactly how much coin he had then? Checkmate atheists.

You're not wrong! Also fill some of that gap with stuff about the villain or something else to drive the story forward.

And this is exactly why he cut out 100% of Doors of Stone ;)

Like, so much of this story is utterly pointless and that's before the coin counting! I suppose he might argue that it's developing the character but he's not a clever or subtle enough author to do that properly.

Or maybe he is because I want to carry on regardless of being annoyed a lot of the time.

Looking forward to the crazy demon sexy time tbh

Clearly The Doors of Stone represent the last shreds of Kvothe's sexual repression.

The shadow-body is a becoming-orifice.

Behind the door, all the monsters and villains (and more) are waiting for the resolution through the love of SexJesus Kvothe....

Well I've reached the fairy sex goddess and I dunno what you guys were on about, I was rocking a semi the whole time!

KIDDING that was really awkward I love how neckbeard Kvothe is suddenly uber-chad who can out-sex a legendary magical seductress without trying too hard and then break the spell because he didn't want to be raped. Rothfuss really likes describing curves of the throat and he's also fallen into the "men writing women" trap of giving breasts personalities.

Overall good awkward fun haha
