Hires look at the new Spidey costume (spoilered for those who don't want to see it yet).

Spoiler

Now all we need is a Wolverine cameo.

...or Deadpool.... actually Deadpool is way hotter right now.

I'm calling this right now. The deal that Sony made with Marvel to let them use Spidey...is going to pay CASH with his use in Civil War and in future...and you watch Fox FINALLY capitulate with the Fantastic Four when they see Sony make some big bucks off letting Marvel Ent use their character.

Also, putting Spidey in the end of that trailer just upped everyone's excitement about it to eleventy billion. It's a full-on marketing WIN if I ever saw one.

Right?

I mean he was on screen for mere seconds and I'm more stoked than I was for both the previous Spidey movies combined.

New TV spot featuring a new clip of Spidey...and it's fucking AWESOME. Straight outta Ultimate Spiderman.

Goddamn this movie looks to be full of win!

That's actually where the phrase "pop a boner" comes from.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I call for a ban, temporarily, of Nicodimas until we've all seen the movie. He knows too much!

Hype is the enemy. This becomes clearer every day!

I avoided most trailers, I avoided reviews, Spoilers and this thread. I did not even know the movie was out until my friend tells me he is booking us tickets and off we go. It was oddly freeing to just be going to see the movie instead of having been waiting for it for a month. However, 5 seconds before one of the big fights my friend turns to me and says 'this is supposed to be the greatest action sequence in all of Marvel movie history'. Its not that it was bad, its just that for me that statement was not true but now I was disappointed that it failed to meat my expectation. The movie experience is best in the absence off expectation. So you can just enjoy it for what it is and make up your own mind.

I know I say this all the time, but they do need to chill on trailers. I just want to know a movie is coming out, don't give it away anything. Teasers are the best..I hate going to movies and knowing I saw too much about X and Y future movie

I think there's a whole thread dedicated to that in the srs bsns part of the forum ... :)

@Cause
I don't know about you, but I find it hard to avoid. My page-hopping browsing habits (minds out of the gutter ... for now) make it difficult for me. I know I don't have to click on the trailer/review links, however the fact that spoilers aren't a huge problem for me means that my curiosity tends to win out more often than not unless I have a real reason to avoid them.

Ya, I knew all the best Deadpool jokes in the movie from the trailers, for example. ...and you'd think that would be an easy one to change up things DP says since he's wearing a mask anyways.

Saw it last night.

So very, very good. Nice to see consequences of actions.

I like the new Spidey. So much better than that Garfield prat.
