All of those characters except the Green Lantern are Marvel characters, but they have not appeared in any MCU stuff yet -- they've been in non-MCU movies from before Disney bought up everything, and they will all likely have their MCU debuts sooner or later. Fantastic Four apparently first. But completely rebooted from those previous movies. I haven't seen Agents of SHIELD but from my understanding it started out as a canon spinoff from the MCU, but eventually they decided it was non-canon? I don't know where the Netflix shows are now, but they were also supposed to be canon at the time. And there's a few more Marvel shows scattered on various networks and streaming services too still I think, so maybe all the ones not on Disney+ aren't considered MCU canon?
Anyway, I'm sick of saying the word canon. I watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier and I liked it more than I expected to. It kinda felt like some of the Netflix shows, in fact, but with a bigger budget and obviously stronger ties to the movies. Without revealing those spoilers, I agree with Cause that a few of these story lines will possibly hit uncomfortably close to home (in the US), so it might be hard to manage the escapism element I would hope for from these things. I guess we'll see. I'm feeling more enthused to stick with it now than I was to watch it in the first place, so that's a good sign.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
