No reply as of yet and 2 hours left on your time limit, according to my understanding of GMT heh. But yeah, I'll handle it if necessary. She(?) should have used the vig earlier as Galain was a top choice for it. Now modkill and no vig, most likely.

I'm not sure how I feel about that question mark...

Heh, oops. You should totally feel happy that I cared to get it right, cause that's important too! I am pretty sure that you are a lady, but your name did throw me off because, you know, it says king. I hadn't been around here much lately, until I came back to play in the mafia 100th, so I'm still trying to figure out the people that weren't around when I was playing in every game.

Hahaha! Nah it's okay, it made me laugh. And the name is a bit confusing I suppose.

Wait, you're not a dude? I feel so misled. You're as bad as Tapper.

Yeah agreed. Having seen the amount of posts this week, I think the full freeze is the better option.

Yeah, activity has been a bit of an issue, would've thought it wouldn't be so much an issue past the initial cull, but I guess it's hard for people to be consistently active over a longer period.

Though it seems to be more of an issue generally now.

If I run another game, it will probably have mod punishments for insufficient activity. Maybe for various other things too :(

Will make a post letting them know about the freeze.

I think Wednesday Midnight GMT is as good an arbitrary time as any.

Well it hadn't been so much of an issue until this week. Hopefully it just ends up being because of holiday stuff and next week will be a return to form.

And yeah, that works fine as a freeze time. It is when I stop the clock for weekends generally anyway.

Yeah, I saw that. I KNEW that hammer screamed scum. No one innocent would have wanted to be the hammer vote when they're unsure if they will be seen as hammering a townie. and there was still plenty of time and people online saying they would hammer when they had to. in almost every case I can remember I and others always lament being that last vote and that's why we let the timer run down so far. when Galain hammered, I Knew it was scum. I just didn't know I wouldn't beat a modkilled. I would have secured a Galain Lynch guaranteed. I just don't understand how its not so obvious to everyone else. Or at least to the good players.

Starling is a cow like that :(

That is my reason for saying she played superb, she got a lot of pressure for the hammer vote. Yet just brushed it off.

No she didn't. She made an extremely stupid post bout hammering because she didn't want to risk not getting the Lynch, when we had a million hours left and people standing by. That defense post in itself sealed her guilt for me. She didn't shrug anything off. I just got modkilled before I even began to drop the hammer or begin my case. I guarantee! I secure the Lynch had I not been modded. Which can be confirmed by the post I sent in response to my being told I was modkilled. No one else was even paying any attention so she dint have to shrug off anything.

Day 1
Day has timed out. No one was lynched.

10 votes to lynch, 10 to go to night.

5 votes Ruse (Thyrllan, Hood's Path, Galain, Tennes, Omtose)
2 votes D'riss (Telas, Meanas)
1 vote Tennes (D'riss)

Ruse's train Day 2:

10 votes Ruse (Thyrllan, Rashan, Mockra, Liosan, Hood's Path, Kaschan, Meanas, Tennes, Serc, Galain)
1 vote Serc (Gamelon)
2 votes Omtose (Korv, Telas)

Tennes train:

Mockra, Gamelon, D'riss, Meanas, Thyrllan, Galain, Omtose, Telas

I'm just putting this here as a convenient reminder. Planning to do a re-read analysis later today and the trains are where I'll start.

At this point I gotta go with my gut - I don't think Mockra is scum. Vote 3 on Ruse.

Just looking at train alone, I don't like Galain. Put a vote on Ruse Day 1 when it was pretty safe the lynch wouldn't happen. Hammered Day 2. Shows up on Tennes train a little earlier. Not much to set them apart posting-wise (no waves to speak of).

Meanas is basically the same. 7th on the Ruse lynch, put down early on the Tennes train. Only difference is they didn't vote Ruse Day 1. And same comment re: posting style as Galain. I got no read on them.

Finally, Gamelon. No where to be seen on Day 1. Votes elsewhere on Ruse Lynch Day and comes on to Tennes very early Day 3. No read on them.

I don't feel like going after the current du jours in Mockra and Telas (although I find Telas the more suspicious of the two).

Meanas/Gamelon aren't that different, but Galain strikes me as more calculated in their "risk-taking" as a possible scum distancing from their partner.

I know this is largely ignoring interactions, but I'm simplifying in my head, and all the chatter about Mockra/Telas/D'riss strikes me as just that, chatter.

Vote Galain

I think Shin will keep it there. It's whether or not others will follow the vote. I am surprised Khell has not pulled a case out of the bag yet.

Now do you understand why my posts had no content. There was no way I was not going to get lynched and, I know the people in these games, they would have seen through anything I tried to do.

Yeah, Driss fucked you. But that post you made saying Driss was setting up some type of bait/trap scenario by voting you so early sealed your guilt for me. The tone of the post suggested that you must have figured he was your symp and a very 'unskilled' one at that, and you posted almost as if you were going to talk for him, and since he's your symp, he'd have had no objections.

And I called out Galain as soon as she made that hammer. And none of us are on point every game, but this was just one of those games that was supposed to have been mine. I'm bummed that I actually played a game where I nailed both scum so quickly and had my glory stolen because I wasn't paying attention to the modkill rules.

Thought you did a good job really. There's rarely much to be done about symp cases, leaving them low content/connections is about the best you can hope for, and misdirection is just gonna be a WIFOM gamble most times.

As a player, I think it's a shame you got shafted on it, but at the same time early scum lynches are usually interesting and it's helped balance the modkills a bit so from a mod point of view it's worked out pretty well really.

Yeah, I think you guys did the best you could given the too obvious of a signal mistake by one of your symps from the very start. And starling has actually played well as other remaining killer. I was just cranky before when I got modkilled. I still have faith that once it gets down to the last day, someone(s) will be smart enough to figure it out and pull out a win for us town folk.

What's the going thinking on whether to go ahead and kill off Driss, the known symp/scum, to decrease the scum voting numbers. It would give a free NK of another townie in trade, unless a lucky heal. Or should they forgo using a day to take out Driss and keep aiming for the last killer, thus a win.

Hmm, might be my last day. Still, it buys Galain a day more. I've not had time to come up with a proper fake reveal - work is insane lately - so better to go out. I have no problems if I don't...

Of course the question is whether they stand back and admire my mighty balls if I am a killer or if they jump on me...

Interesting play. At this point, I think some of the people getting bored may just drive-by hammer to spice things up a bit. We'll see.

A person is smart. People are stupid. No one should fall for the self vote ever again after I last used it in the mafia 101 game to escape lynch as scum. For the most part, it's mostly a scum move.

You always do this, you fn' mo.

You have a few decent reads early in the game, then you make a case and/or vote, but if they don't scream 'You got me, <insert random alt name> you back off and most often go after enough other town alts that everyone finds you scummy.

Of course I knew you weren't scum, but I wouldn't have defended your sporadic play.

I enjoyed that though. I think Galain is doing a superb job.

I strongly disagree. I KNEW Galain was the other killer with that hammer vote on Ruse with other people already saying they were around to hammer. Galains defense was she wanted to make sure it went thru in time, but we still have a billion hours on the clock. I had a giant case against Galain typed out at work, and its why I left my day 2 vote on Galain, and came home to post it and was alrdy modkilled.

I also don't see the pm I sent HM saying Galain was DEF the other killer. So between me getting modded before I could put the nail in Galain coffin, and the vig that was coming her way getting modded, then no. I think starling played a very transparent killer.

I knew right away that hammer was too forced. It was a LOOK AT ME, I hammered hammer.

I could have sworn that I posted that PM, but I don't see it either. I'll dig it up later and post it. We didn't want to modkill you but it had been 8 days (10 with weekend) on a 4 day timer. But yeah, you were definitely onto Galain.

Oh, it was because I posted from main and not alt. No wonder I couldn't find it under Rashan.

Hey Brujah, I was just going over timers in the slow game and you are past modkill time. I know you mentioned you were very busy in our pick em thread, so it is no problem if you can't play. If you can play, please post this weekend. Since I already stopped the clock, you will not be killed until it resumes on Monday. Hope things are less busy now, free time is good!

Oh my bad. I thought mod kill timer was like 7 days or something. But then again, maybe it has been past 7 days. But yeah, ill get a post in. My post where I voted ruse was my last post and I knew 100% ruse was scum when he pulled that 'maybe it was a trap and bait' etc post he made. Defo scum. Next post I show Galain is also scum. I'm positive Galain is scum.(now watch me be wrong) Plus another player that I need to look at is Serc, Driss, and MAYBE meanas. Will post before weekend ends.
