Oh man, I started off playing quite good, in my opinion, but then I got careless and spammy. I should have stuck to the RP and town like posts. Also I should have stuck to Galain but that's easy to do in hindsight!

I enjoyed that though. I think Galain is doing a superb job.

I wonder why spoilers appear in new content feed, they never used to.

I thought they did that before, as long as you have access to the spoilers. Either way, I like that they do. It is much faster and easier to get to that way.

Glad you had fun though. Aside from people forgetting that they are playing, I think this game has been going rather well. With all the extra time, most of the posts are high content so people are really thinking about the game and who is doing what.

NK cancelled for now.

Dammit Tatts, you would have to build a case on my main two NK targets, wouldn't you?

Except that now I have a sneaking suspicion that Telas is my symp, and a bloody good one too. I don't want him to die Judy yet. Particularly because if D'riss it's our other symp he's bloody useless.

cancel action

I need to think about this some more

Which is very good timing. I was just about to begin resolving everything, so the old NK almost went through anyhow.

And back to Thyrllan again.

Alright, I've decided I'm killing off Thyr. This will hopefully ease some pressure off Telas, and divert attention to Mockra. Also, Thyr is annoying.

kill Thyr

I'm gonna resolve soon, when I get time.

That little voice in your head that tells you to stop pushing...

...and I ignored it.

I didn't realize Starling was scum till Messremb brought the following case on me and I looked at what Liosan and Gamelon were highlighting.

I really wish I'd read up alot more. Thought I'd pick it up as I go but this game is...not what I expected.

In hind sight I see I tried to do waaay too much. Also got into tons of stupid arguments.

Really could have played a better game.

It was fun. Thanks for the chance.

Here's a message for you, Dolmen.

Well, the only good news is we couldn't have actually prevented it.

I'm surprised, frankly. You were throwing so much random up on thread, I would have thought the killer would have kept you around. Maybe the newbie-innocent card was just too obvious, so they felt we'd never try to lynch you?

Ahh well.

You played well in my opinion. Your posts are fun to read - hope you stick around and play some more. The learning curve can be steep, and we have all kinds of stupid conventions that have developed over time, but it'd be great if you're willing to weather it all. :)

Thanks H&M, Omtose was a great mentor. Patient, let me play to my gut and tempered my enthusiasm so I didn't become a disaster. Grateful for the pairing.

Will keep trying my hand at the games. I hate being bad at things like this and I guess that's why I need to keep playing so I learn.

Yeah I thought you had a solid game, got involved, were willing to put your ideas out there, shame you got killed really (slightly odd kill from Galain too). Maybe a bit unfocussed. Maybe a bit too polite :)

Hope you keep playing :D

Dolmen is super popular now!

Thank Dolmen for playing. He made a good effort and it IS appreciated, but this WAS NOT the best game for a new player. No holds bar pretty much taking place for town fuckery, despite the fact that he was obviously as hell a newb. Glad he got killed before we lynched him.

Telas is Ment and he is not acting like Ment at all so I'm gonna meta that into a vote as soon as possible. Ment is a coaster, so what the fuck is he doing making all sorts of cases and being productive?

How did HD pick up Telas as Ment? Soccer connection I guess? Does that mean Ment wanted that connection laid plain?

Also my strong WIFOMism says Starling protecting Ment was Ments intention...just guessing ofcourse.

I think I'm starting to see the power of the meta game...

Also Cheers HD :)

People meta Ment as a coaster now? Well that's a change.

He might have less time than his previously unlimited, spam filled days, but he's pretty reliably involved when I've played with him recently.

@Dolmen, people can be alted in various manners, some people are easier than others, there are quite a lot of ways he could've spotted ment, but the football is the most obvious one. I wouldn't really read into it as Ment wanting to be alted for tactical reasons (not something I'd use for reasoning about scum etc, if I were in game), people are quite often not bothered about hiding who they are, or will mention things from RL that give it away. It can be a deliberate choice (for example, when arguments about playstyle come up "I always play like this" is a pretty common defence), but I'd say in most cases it isn't.

Well, looks like Rashan should have been modkilled at the same time as Kaschan. We've given the alt a ton of chances, so now we need to remove it as there has been no post since the 12th. I literally need to run out the door now, so it would be great if you could do it Grief, otherwise I will in 3ish hours.

Modkilled him. Decided to change the vote number to reflect it. As we get fewer players it increasingly benefits to leave them as they are. Gave them a warning not to try to use that for any sort of advantage, not that I think anyone would, but best to establish it.

Game has been very high on modkill, and that's with several replacements too. Dunno if it's too much time or too little...

I strongly disagree. I KNEW Galain was the other killer with that hammer vote on Ruse with other people already saying they were around to hammer. Galains defense was she wanted to make sure it went thru in time, but we still have a billion hours on the clock. I had a giant case against Galain typed out at work, and its why I left my day 2 vote on Galain, and came home to post it and was alrdy modkilled.

I also don't see the pm I sent HM saying Galain was DEF the other killer. So between me getting modded before I could put the nail in Galain coffin, and the vig that was coming her way getting modded, then no. I think starling played a very transparent killer.

I knew right away that hammer was too forced. It was a LOOK AT ME, I hammered hammer.
