I found this very relaxing to listen to. Despite being an amazing vocalist there's just something about the level of humility this guy has and this was quite charming to watch.

Hevy Devy is my absolute favourite artist to watch perform. He just looks like he's having so much fun and you know he's found the one thing in the world he's meant to do. I love this video where he stops halfway through to talk to a fan

I remember watching that as it came out.
Such a great little concert. Love how hes willing to perform for audiences regardless of size. Heck his quarantine concerts were amazing.

Devin is great. I am quite happy to see he's also playing some limited SYL numbers as well. I have never been of the view that they should reform - he's nowhere near angry enough for that band any more - but giving fans a couple of tidbits from that catalogue is real nice.
Quite looking forward to his new disc as well, Empath was butterfuck nutty and I loved every second of it.

New Meshuggah album dropped a few days ago. Great so far, not sure if I would rank it with Obzen, Koloss or tVSoR but definitely in the same sonic ballpark. With an unexpected Neurosis-style opener.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Yeah, I know.... I don't follow these guys that closely, but I think they've had incidences that are problematic (saying it lightly) over the years. And you know Dave Mustaine gonna Mustaine. That aside, this is a pretty good cover.
I don't think Megadeth gets the credit they deserve for stretching thrash metal like they did.

The incident with the kid who jumped up on stage? A mess of a situation but one I can sympathise with them on.
I'm not aware of any other incidents but I would rather like to read Randy's autobiography, he's always come across as quite erudite.

Anyone know Fallujah? Made a stunning album called Dreamless in 2016 that was heavy and atmospheric and brilliant. Followed it up in 2019 with a rather disappointing one that had a new singer and lost tons of the atmosphere and creativity for a very generic metalcore sound...
Fast forward to today where I find they have a new singer, the sound has gone back to their earlier form while still sounding new and fresh and it turns out their new singer is a friend of mine!
