New Nemophila single "A Ray of Light". I didn't like it at first but it's starting to grow on me. It's a bit like being smashed in the face with a fluffy sledge hammer

So I just discovered a band called An Abstract Illusion. They've apparently been around for a while but haven't produced anything for 6 years. This year they brought out an album called Work and... Well, I just love it! It ticks so many boxes for me, death metal with big proggy vibes, sublime melodic intervals amidst the intense chaotic heaviness... It's just a beautiful album and I'll be listening to it a lot!

A Haunting Poem
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.
I Scream
You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.

ASTERiSM's show from September 9th. Really amazed they've put this up on YouTube, as it was a show that was a paid live stream (which I missed at the time). I expect this isn't the full show, not sure.
Amazing stuff. Worth 55 minutes (and 10 seconds) of anyone's time if you like instrumental rock music. Lots of anime themes here, as they just released an album of instrumental cover versions. Some seriously next level playing. Haruka (HAL-CA) the guitarist is just 20 years old, and the others are only a year or two older than her.

And after a long hiatus in which their bassist left, and two of the other band members each got married and had a child, LOVEBITES are back with a BANG!
