Some people in chat have occasionally been disbelieving of me when I mention deep fried pizza in batter (a pizza crunch, to give it the correct title)

fortunately, wiki is my friend:

fourth paragraph :p
meh. Link was dead :(

Lest We Forget

Quote

In Flanders Field
by John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

I leveled up my combat melee skills through four training sessions last week and even got a nice persuasion and intelligence bonus for sucessfully smooching with two different girls in the same night on Friday. On the flip side, I tippled a wee bit too much and my health took a temporary hit all Saturday and Sunday.

OH WAIT YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS IN DAT THING CALLED SKYRIM WHILE I TALK ABOUT REAL LIFE...
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I swear 50% or Skyrim's purchases were driven by the desire to murder dragons.

I have been replaying the Baldurs Gate/Icewind Dale games this past few weeks and enjoying myself wholeheartedly. Good stuff. Also a clown will not bite you and throw you in the basement.

Augh Icewind Dale. In IWD2, if you play on the highest difficulty the final boss is actually empirically impossible. Impossibly high AC, basically immune to magic.

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT AT THE TIME.

Saw this video in related videos to a song I was listening to.

Is it just me, or does this guy look like Nick Cage? The singer/guitarist, that is.

I've never seen the singer of Nickelback before I clicked on that video. Maybe it's the bad hair?
