It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

The "nice mod" Grief?
I am the Very Helpful(And Nice) Mod, actually. :)
I mainly busy myself with correcting errors in threads, double posts and the like, although I haven't done much of that recently. I've actually been less than active the last few weeks.
But then, you did all make Brood cry, which was Brood's own fault. :harhar:
I don't think we have much of a problem with stuff, really. If you think we're bad, visit 4chan, 7chan, and the Encyclopdia Dramatica. Hell, even DeviantARt. We, good sirs, are pretty much the height of internet manners.

Although, despite the fact that he posted about 100 posts saying "spam" on day one, to get more pages, I still ended up with a higher post count. :harhar:

elitist?

we've been joking about Tiste being a corpse botherer for years....

we've oftentimes been incredibly spammy..... (see the nostalgia thread for a few references)

the only thing i can recall us ever being elitist about is Goodkind.

and that's a trait we share with most every other fantasy board i've visited, well, except Goodkind's, obviously.

After all, we aren't the original lemmings of discord by any means. Or the creators of the sword of truth parody site.

Joking?

I have noticed this board get better at figuring out where the boundaries of appropriate behavior lie and better at being funny/recognizing humor. Since I have been consistently awesome throughout my time here, I do not think this is a "me conforming to the board" situation. Keep it up, people.

It helps to have banned Wiggles and to have certain snobbish members not spend much time here anymore. And to have new members who actually read a bit before posting.

I've been here just over a year now methinks, and I spy no regression, the hawt thread still exists, the awesome pictures thread has always had a few ill moments.
That being said whoever said members are getting better at knowing the limits of propriety is definitely true, I got my hand slapped a few times in my first few months but haven't been (that I know of) frowned upon recently, although I'm quite sure perverse pleaseures raised a few eyebrows.
So long as its in the Inn I think people know not to take it seriously, the level of jokery in other forums might have increased, I havent hit the book forums for a while now.

Careful, SD. We breed 'em tough out here...

Speaking of the hawt thread, where's it gone. This will not do.
