Yeah, I don't know at what point Square Enix decided that instead of properly working on the next game, they would do a direct sequel to an existing game (I guess the first was FF X-2), but it annoys me as the direct sequels are always crapola.

Sigh, above and beyond that, FF XIV (14) will be a quasi-sequel to FF XI so it is another go at the MMORPG and solely for PC....thus requiring us to wait for FF XV to get the true next game and the rumor is it will be on the NEXT generation of console.

Didnt get on my course for my PGCE. Have to tell the family. Might leave it till tomorrow so I have a night without judgement from them. They had 2 places with 30+ applicants as everyone with a degree these days is going into teaching because theres no jobs (what the university people tell me based on some study apparently).

Grandfather's gonna be stuck in the hospital for another 3 weeks. But it looks like he's stable, he just has the "largest non-fatal infection" that his doctors have ever seen.
