FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk
After telling me my 8000-character mini-essay on Kingdoms of Amalur was 'too long' for Facebook's standards (thinking, naturally, to simply repost it via two comments, the obvious solution, and one rendering moot the character limit in the first place, might I add...) I copied half of the text.
Then I hit backspace. Uh-oh. Apparently that was the cue for my browser to go back one page, lose my post, and send me straight into the pit of despair.
THAT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO WRITE YOU STUPID BROWSER. FUCK.
AND it was awesome, too. AND it was part of an ongoing discussion with Luci, which, as per the 'happy' thread, WAS MAKING ME HAPPY, DAMMIT.
Still posted the second half (which had, thankfully, copied), but it's just not the same.
Also, I BROKE FACEBOOK, MOTHERFUCKERS.

Spent the weekend staying at my gran's house with my family, sorting out effects and attending the funeral.
There were a few silver linings, meeting long lost relatives, meals with aunts and uncles, seeing silly possessions my gran had... some not so silly. I mean, the book Peek a Boob Too, printed 1976, was funny, what with the various pictures drawn on breasts with makeup and puns with it (a padlock covering a breast, ChasTITTY, an Austrian dictator, Titler, etc) that wasn't so bad. The books I had to sort from my gran and grandad's bedroom wardrobe? While my cousins - 14 and 16 year old girls, seeing what jewellry my gran had left the pair of them - and my aunts looked on the sorted pile? The huge number of erotic novels wasn't the worst - the novelisation of Caligua (with movie screencaps in the centre as prints), the Life of the Marquis De Sade, the Book of Coarse Sex...
I mean, I loved my gran and all, but the first line on my will is going to mandate the reformatting of all my hard drives and the firing of the sealed non-descript box in my bedroom into the sun so this never happens to my grandkids.
...the horror...

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Fixed.
The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

Is it out on Kindle in the UK? Cos I think I'm getting one for my birthday on the weekend & that would be a great 1st book to buy! I know that doesn't help you, but still...

My mum recently got a horse for my little sister. It's a flood rescue horse so they are building its strength back up. Today the RSPCA came out because someone called and said that it was being neglected. FFS! My sister is with that horse every moment of the day that she isn't at school, it's constantly being groomed, it has a professional come out every fortnight to clean its feet, and there is always food in its yard and water. They based their assumption off how the horse looks instead of the actual care it gets or even CHECKING TO SEE IF IT HAS FEED! Don't people check their facts before calling authorities anymore? Yea for being an animal lover and being concerned for its welfare but you could have asked or atleast LOOKED first before wasting the RSPCA rep's time and breaking my little sister's heart because she thought her horse was going to be taken away.

Sunderland have completed the loan signing of Greek defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg until the end of the season. The 32-year-old former Liverpool only left Anfield last summer.

EDIT- worried about seeing myself on this. The fact that its eminently plausible ill put in a cameo is messing with my groove

Nearly had a heart attack hahah.
There have been quite a lot of burglaries/attacks round the area recently and we live a bit set back, no streetlights, dad and brother work away during the week.
Mum and I had put all the lights off and were chatting while we gathered stuff to head to the rooms when we heard thumping and thought someone was hitting the kitchen door, mum was like 'there's someone there!' I near shredded my vocal cords screaming and took off to get something pointy and smashy, forgot I was wearing wooly bedsocks, skidded across the floor and ended up face down on the carpet with a (now) bruised shoulder...I then realised what I was looking for was beside the door the whole time. And it doesn't look like there was anyone at the door but if there was I am sure they are bleeding from the ears

In a similar note to mott.
Moved into our new house last night.
new house got broken into last night, 5 of us there and none ofus woke up.
Items stolen
Macros' laptop
Macros' wallet
Macros' HSBC code generator for online banking (no intrinsic value but bloody awkward to replace down here)
I suspect someone realised how awesome I am and has decided the only logical course of action is to steal all my shit.
Mother fucker

Damn Macros. I don't know what's worse - having your stuff stolen or knowing someone was in your house while you slept. I suspect the later. The police call it a 'sneak in' and they are becoming more regular in Brisbane especially during summer when people leave doors open during the day and windows at night.
Can you give the police your laptop serial number? Sometimes it leads to getting your stuff back. And make sure you cancel ALL your bank cards ASAP.
