ADWD. I was spoiled with SE methinks.....cause this is crap. 275 pages in, and it feels like I'm wasting my time. I was wondering if I would hold GRRM in the same awesome light that I did before after reading SE and ICE, and now I have my answer. When does SE new book come out? I can't believe I rushed to the store early on the morning of release to buy this shit!!!! (personal opinion of course) Argh!!!! Wench! More wine!!!!!

When I got up and went to take a shower today, the pipes only answered with a long, dramatic howl and some growls... no water. FFS. Now all sticky and groggy. Bleh.

Money, money, money. No luck on the job front and to make sure when term starts back that our rent comes out AFTER our student loans come in we have to pro-rata August rent from the 4th to the 10th. Another 60-70 quid I DON'T HAVE.

Off to the bank later to get a credit card. One thing I said I'd never resort to but with next months rent nearly maxing out my fucking overdraft I ain't got a choice.

Don't fuck around with credit card debt - I only recently paid them off (only because I goaded my father into doing so) because they're too convenient.

Got an interview next week with a very high profile civil aviation company that's worth an extra 1/3 of my annual salary, and feeling quietly confident about it too!!

Where's the groove messing I hear you ask?

Well, my partner is due in Jan, so I've got until November to get a mortgage and buy us a home.
Problem is, I will need about another 6 weeks to get my full deposit together, and starting with Rolls Royce requires a temporary agency contract for the first 12 mths, meaning the banks won't touch me!!

go for the job, if you have somewhere to live and take care of yourselves and family, houses are on the market all the time, jobs aren't.

I hate where I live right now, and have been saving for the last 9 mths, so I feel I'm committed to buying now.

If i take the job now, I won't be able to lend for about another 12 mths, at which point my partner will be on maternity leave.
I want to buy a house before the year is out, as ive been horribly obsessed and terribly skint since starting to save my deposit.

I guess the only option is to tell the job I can't start until October. That'll give me enough time to buy.

There you go, job and house. Done.
Cake and eat it!!!

Groove messed with = there is no grocery store close to my house, so to buy proper food I have to go out of my way..and after work I am tired and usually too lazy to go out of my way tot he grocery store...so i usually end up eating toast, or pizza or something bad for me.

I'm sick of eating stuff that is bad for me and want to eat better.

The water board although acknowledging that the bill theyve sent is 200 pound also have another bill of 400 pound+ that theyve added because of a general enquiry going on into the house. I cant afford the 200 bill nevermind the 400 one so theyve said theyll ring me back with more information which they havnt done.
