I had this in reverse. All my friends started doing, cocain, meth, ecstasy, heroine, acid, you name it. After a while I got the fuck out a there when I sobered up and realized that shit was bad. Hell I was 20 at the time though and the only things above I pasted on were the heroine, and meth. 11 yrs later most of them are in jail or in troble with the law now.....


Yeh this is more along the lines of whats happening. Ive never even smokeda cigarette never mind doing drugs (though I drink alot when im out see a few pages back) so it was just a bit of a shock. My friends in uni all smoke weed and do MDMA, KEtamin,pills etc and I thought going out with older friends would alleviate this though tbh it never bothered me too much because they all know Ive never even been tempted. But it was just surprising. Im not really judging them Ive been around people doing loads of drugs since I was a kid,enough to now be used to it as a day to day. Still a shock though.

In other news I bought an N64 with goldeneye zelda Super SMash bros and all the other classics. Plugged it in and it worked but couldnt get it working on the new tv. Had a look online and this is a common problem that we remedied but now it wont turn on. I was so close to being happy as Ive been nostalgic for some N64 action for about 6 months.

Damn CPA exam suuuucks so hard! Another 600 pages of study material to cover in the next 3 weeks on top of work. I even get to study on my vacation!

Bah, the grounds crew was outside at work all day so I spent most of the day listening to lawn mowers and industrial leaf blowers. I get home from work and right outside my window I have the complex's gardener using the same leaf blower. A few hours without listening to that drone would have been nice.

I got my copy of ADWD tonight but had to be at my gf's family dinner for the last few hours and the only time I got to read it her dad talked my ear off...

So I've had ADWD for like 5 hours now and I've only got to page 7!

Blerg! FEck! Now I plan to stay up for an extra hour just so I can get stuck in proper.

So my Father's Day present got lost in the mail. My wife finally contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement that I just got today. Portal 2! Hooray! Took an hour and half to download it and all the stupid Steam updates (after getting all sorts of "can't connect to Steam" bullshit) and finally I was able to play it...only to get a blank black screen. Some quick Googling and I find out that my graphics card isn't new enough to play. Well, FUCK. This is why I pretty much stopped playing PC games way back in college.

anyone else been bombarded by 'funny' g+ pwns facebook gifs and pictures lately? Jeebus, I can understand that this is going to be nice for a lot of people, and I'm going to swap over as well, but seriously - it's a bit too fucking early to be calling 'pwns' on anything just yet. I really want to start throwing punches.

I got up to go to the bathroom, came back, and Whiskeyjack has stolen my spot on the couch. No problem, I'll sit next to him.
I was thirsty so I went and got myself a drink, came back, and Kalam has stolen my spot. No problem, I'll sit between them.
I get up to change videogames over, turn around, and Raraku has stolen my spot.........

Well damn. I love my cat, but i've been known to pick her up and move her if she steals my spot...she usually doesn't though since she has a whole chair for herself. Still she likes to sit on my clothes if I throw them on the floor.

You say these things but you don't realise who I'm dealing with. My cats are VERY well named. If I annoy Kalam I'm likely to wake up with a dagger in my back or at the very least with him sitting on my face trying to suffocate me (again). Raraku is vicious and growls like a mountain lion and has the claws to make good on any threat and Whiskeyjack.......well, he's Whiskeyjack! Besides, he's the only being that can give me a disdainful like and actually make me feel bad about myself/my actions. I just can't deal with that - I'd rather sit on the floor.
