I have an appointment with my surgeon this morning. It's a good nine to ten months earlier than I was expecting and he doesn't seem to have told any staff I've spoken to why I need the appointment. They keep saying it's nothing to worry about (but then if it was, I don't think it would be their job to tell me) and also that doesn't explain why he suddenly wants to see me nine to ten months early.

Having been playing Baldur's Gate 2 for most of the afternoon and evening yesterday, I am largely tempted to lead in with "Feel the backhand of justice!" and see how things pan out from there.... ^_^

How the hell am I supposed to keep my blood pressure under control if I have to deal with these chumps????

The people who performed a coup d'etat (spelling?) on the project I've invested 8 months of my life into, have already managed to fuck it up. Royally. And I know they are going to find some way to blame it on me... fun times ahead!

Also, I have a massive cold with a fever and everything, but I have to work because we're understaffed and NO ONE can cover for me. And tomorrow I go to Barcelona with a bunch of girlfriends to celebrate turning 30. A trip we've been planning for months! Who just got their period today? THAT'S FUCKING RIGHT!! It's me.

Oh, and Mr Awesome's house got flooded. The whole ground floor has to be refurbished, and ALL of his electronic stuff is dead. Consoles, stereo, computers, servers, amps, the fucking works. This messes with my groove because he is still my friend and this is just a shit hand to be dealt.

FUCK EVERYTHING.

Baby is officially overdue today. Wife is miserable. The combination of knowing the pain/labour is coming, but not knowing when is irritating her...and mixed with that is that we are staying at home (our hospital is close to us) and are basically just watching TV and movies and getting INCREDIBLY bored by it...wife doesn't want to venture out too much as she's afraid her water will break in public and doesn't want to face that embarrassment. We realize that we should relish not doing anything because soon we will be very busy and sleepless being parents...but I think it's the anxiety and anticipation that is killing us (more her than me mind you, but still me as well).

I think I'm just excited to meet my daughter and the stubborn kid is late. ^_^

Hope all ok QT, everything crossed for you all. Check in soon.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Well, I can certainly see how that would mess with his groove ^_^

Chigger is a type of mite I think. I'm none the wiser on the rest of it though!

Yeah, its a tiny mite that lays its larvae under your skin. Itches like a motherfucker.

I'm assuming he meant leg, maybe? Which is almost always where they getcha.

But penis is funnier.

If you would stop throwing your trumpet and skittles into a forest that has no interest in your tallywhacker, perhaps chiggers wouldn't go down on you.

How in the holy hell did you get chiggers on your junk?

Were you naked whilst enjoying the campfire?

They will swarm up your pants and into your underwear. If you are going into chigger country wear tight underwear, it helps a bit. He's lucky he only got one bite and not 50 on his junk.

So, got a job interview.
Plan: Imma gonna be there almost an hour early, better to wait a bit.
Reality: Not one freaking train is going anywhere.
Excuse the profanity, but fuck this shit! And the German Railway, too. And those idiot fucks who thought it a great idea to go exploring the rail tracks. 'Trains delayed due to persons on the tracks.' Fucking idiots.

This earthquake in Italy is messing with my groove.
I hope they can save as many people as possible.

A lot of damage has been done and I've no doubt the death toll will rise.

It's just horrible.
