Do you get a nice dinner and foreplay first?

Friend has got cancer. Very early stage and he's already had a tumour removing operation for it with a follow up scan in a couple of weeks so there isn't any worries really but it's still horrible for him & his fiancee...

Sadly no. Just stuck in a gown, shity socks and given IV drugs. Then violated.

But it is over, and I am cancer free. But fissuring like Beru under Caladan Brood's hammer

We call sigmoidoscopy the Outback Snakehouse, since they're seeking out your bloomin' onion. Sounds to me though that you're more of a Cracked Anus man, in the end.

Oh dear. Hit the inevitable post break-up wall of "All my friends are settling down/getting married/married, and I fucked everything up and have to start again. Maybe I deserve it/it's all my fault".

I know it's normal, it'll pass and I'll rather soon be rational about it all again. Right now though? I actually wish I drank. Tea isn't strong enough.

What's weird about marriage is that it's the major contract through which you gain the power to cancel someone else's life support. Yet it's when people start to hate each other that they decide to sever that contract. Seems counter-intuitive.

Had a very exciting semi-finals game yest, that ended with a 1:0 loss. (I was off the field when the goal happened, so it wasn't my injury-related incompetence that caused it)

Managed to slip on the ball and fall backwards, flexing both legs as they went up off the ground. The pain from the stretch was quite something.

Now basically got a discomfort sitting or standing up (actually standing and walking is not so bad). Feels almost like a bruise, but of the core muscles directly below the abs.

On the plus side, only have 1 game that matters left on Sun, then I can take a break for the long weekend and then my 2-week vacation.

I hate my ex more and more each day as I gradually learn what I have been missing all these years and what has been done to my self image. It is an odd counterpoint to the cloud I have been living on, but I hate that she is still in my life like a festering sore. Latest news from the ex: kid doesn't have an allergy. It was bed bugs. Gods I hope they didn't make it here.

I went for extra days with birds of prey instead. Doing it wrong, obviously :)

Depends. Were the birds selling themselves, or drugs?
