I bet they're on the trail of a money laundering organisation.
She went and she left me like litter. She took all future summers with her. I lost all my money cuz I tried to bribe her. Now I can only afford an amateur sniper.

I see this all the time and it bothers me. In the United States of America why the fuck is the soap and Body wash often under lock and key in stores?

Nothing in particular, just life. Sometimes it's just hard to make it through the day. This was one of those.

Ah damn it, my inbox is flooded with Black Friday email blasts. I guess I should set up some rules to manage these better. I would say 90% I delete without giving a second thought, let alone opening them. Guess I should expect more of the same as we head into 'small business Saturday' and 'cyber Monday'. Which begs the question, is the idea of 'cyber Monday' still relevant? I don't think it is, and hasn't been relevant for quite a many years now.

It's pretty funny when you hear people can no longer wash or vacuum or whatever because their internet is down.
Our washing machine has bluetooth for some reason. So you can turn it on from a different room? Who knows.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

It has an app and the washing machine tells your phone stuff. I have refused to install it. Mr PigDog has even though he hasn't been allowed to do washing since he put my whites in with his Welsh football shirt circa 2012.

Our drier has some app which I refuse to acknowledge.
I get in trouble if I use so much as the wrong spin cycle, so I just do all the laundry when I'm on my own and make sure it's all dried and put away before anyone comes home.

I have a very strange mental condition that leads me to find doing the washing extremely soothing. I think it's something to do with having a small recurring achievable goal. And I really love hanging things on the line in a beautiful neat line.
It's slightly terrifying how much internal satisfaction I get from it. Probably a form of OCD linked only to laundry.

Loading the washer and dryer is bullocks. I do like the accompanying ironing and folding that comes after, that really massages the order OCD tendencies I sometimes have to be aware (and keep control) of. But yeah, just the load maintenance of washer to dryer slog can fuck off.

Flippin' traffic is all over the place, and holy hell to high angel on a Christmas tree, I see a lot of out of state license plates. Having a tough time actually figuring out which one is worst to go through: sweaty balls with no insulation and holes galore in 95F or frozen balls with no insulation and holes galore in 30F.

I dont mind washer dryer load flip empty. It's one more mindless task I can do w an earbook on.
Those bluetooth apps are v handy btw. They can tell you if the machine is still on, was run, was loaded but not turned on, time left, etc. Some of the newer models will also automatically open the door by command in case you need to surprise a hired assassin or serial killer. The buzzer function is an excellent distraction during a gunfight, and yetis absolutely hate the 'heat boost/fast dry' command. Sadly, 'extend spin cycle' does not hypnotize zombies.

Sometimes I don't realize how much this year has broken me down. We've been lucky on a lot of fronts (saving on daycare costs, being able to WFH ect.) during COVID, but today I read a poem my dad sent me about covid and Christmas aloud to my wife and kids and I broke down crying by the end where it's trying to be inspirational about Christmas being a feeling and family and all that.
If nothing else this year has made me appreciate the small things.
But yeah, breaking down because of a poem shows me that I've just been bottling up all my apprehensions, worries, struggles, and all else this year.
Feeling cruddy today as a result.

Have you tried drinking alcohol until the feeling goes away?
