I think it could be very likely and it's really freaky every time I see this girl's picture on her mom's timeline. Driven me nuts the past few years.
Was her mom in your truck at any point?
Even just to use the cigarette lighter?

So that's Apt, QT and BK on my hate list. Excessive Christmas celebraters are the worst people. I like Christmas but only at y'know CHRISTMAS TIME. Mid-December at the earliest for me.
Amen! I've had to compromise with my wife for when trees and stuff go up. To my mind you stuck it up the week before but she wants it up months in advance.
In general, it's awful.
My wife likes Christmas stuff up early because she feels it's a waste if it's only up briefly, but moreover her ailing mother's favourite time is and was always Christmas, so we try to keep it well and as long as we can manage for her sake.
I grew up with a dad who would ONLY do the tree on Christmas Eve (like put it up and decorate it on that very night, not before)...so I think my indulgence of Christmas earlier as an adult is the fact that my dad kept it under such a lock and key when I was young and it always passed so fleetingly as a result for me.

I feel yucky. I watched a movie called Last Christmas. It is a bad movie. It has Danairiss Targaireeeun too. She is a poor actor. The movie was rudimentary rom-com pablum with an Xmas skin.
Christmas season should have a rhythm, there should be an anticipation and a building excitement, that kind of that energy. To dump all that on Nov 1 is dumb and speaks to the bigger issue of our modern society with social media and needing everything instantly. It is harming us.

Messing with my groove in a good way but lots to think about. Had my quarterly talent review at work and scored very well. So thats good. I asked about potential growth and they suggested I could make a good solutions architect. Im not sure I have the skills or background though. I can learn anything, and can understand technical things but have no programming/IT background.

Made the bad decision to turn the potential "You're fired!" memes when Trump lost into a drinking game and my tally is already at eight and it's not even 8am.

Stop it right there.
Jiminy Cricket, what's that guy doing over there? That's not how you play NHL hockey. Jumpin' Jehoshaphat.
I grew up listening to Howie Meeker's telecasts. He was one of the best commentators ever, and always entertaining. Sad to see him finally go.

Smashed the toenail on my big toe this morning while wearing bedroom slippers. Was moving some brick bordering my shrubs to get at some weeds and whack! right on the sweet spot of the toenail with nothing but bedroom slippers as protection. Looking at the nail this evening, it is turning black and I'm gonna lose it, as sure as I am typing this groove messed with post. FML.
Well the good news is the toenail has been back for a good stretch now. BUT, and this annoys me, I think it's going to have that weird ass ridgy, uneven nail look to it permanently now. Gawrsh dernit all to h-e double hockey sticks, muh big toes used to be so sexy. I'll be extra conscious when flip flop season returns. -sadface -frown -boohoo

A little stressed. Coolant leak in the middle of Montana and hoping we can get back on the road soon instead of waiting a week for parts. Unsure what happened, but coolant started pouring out when we stopped for gas. Thankfully, close to a dealership and have it here now, but not sure what comes next.

Well good news mostly (and yes I had them show me. Good idea BK). Water pump blew a leak, so we were exceptionally lucky to be within towing range of a dealership. Should be fixed tomorrow hopefully. But then have to make 24 hours of driving in 2 days, with the first day lost to waiting for those repairs. At least we will get home safe.

Good you looked at it. Never let it be known your a complete deer in the headlights when it comes to car repairs. They can be vultures if they sense weakness to get that extra bit of $ out of you. There are honest ones out there sure.
I don’t envy y’all’s trek back to Missouri from there!
I myself am trying to plot a course to Colorado. It’s gonna be a long ass drive.

Checking out the damage is always a good idea, and can be informative.
Good for insurance claims too. Back when someone stole my catalytic converter, I needed the photos showing they cut the pipe on the far side of the pipe flanges to get full compensation.

Nah, we had a rash of catalytic converter thefts around then. A couple used car dealerships were hit more than once. Catalytic converters contain platinum and rhodium, so less scrupulous scrap dealers will pay $100-250 for one. Not near replacement cost. Asshats nonetheless.
Should have heard what my car sounded like driving to the mechanic though. Almost felt like it was about to explode while driving. Luckily it was only a few hundred foot drive.
