You need to get one of those doorbell cameras, so the footage can appear on the "porch pirate roundup" on the evening local news.

Not sure what to make of my job interview today. Didn’t go badly but not sure if I had a chance to shine either. I did so much research which the interviewer noted and said he appreciates but the interviewer spoke longer than I did. Asked me two questions, described the company to me for over ten minutes.

Sounds like they were selling it to you and you were interviewing them.

My thoughts as well.
That or they just don't know how to run a good interview

Shouldn't I be selling myself to them and than later when they know I am the one they try to sell me on the company.

Like I said, they just not be very good at interviews. Or maybe your resume and references read like a dream to them

Worst day ever yesterday.

Long day in ICU with a guy who has about 9 infusions, drains, lines, the lot - was right out of my depth to start.

And on my break, my wife decides to text to tell me shes fed up with it all, her life is awful, and she wants something to change. Oh, and if it wasnt for lockdown I wouldn't be coming home.

So here we go again. I dont know what's triggered it this time, but I'm sure it's my fault and I'll find out soon. Anxiety attack hardly covered it - and I had to stay focused at work for another 7 hours. She hasn't spoke to me today, has just left for work. Gonna be a long week and weekend when we're both off if shes ignoring me.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Tell her to go fuck herself and suck it up?

There's probably a reason I'm not in a relationship.

I would be an excellent councillor! If you don't like my advice, get the hell out! Money is of course paid up front.

My mom has gotten involved with the local branch of Germany's resident right-wing party (AfD for anyone in the know) and has been trying to involve me as well and just won't understand why I find those "nice people" morally reprehensible. Because she finds gay people morally reprehensible, so see, morals are a matter of point of view! Also, my one trans friend is not right in the head but a nice girl, but all those others need to be hidden away...

:admin:

Edit: She also took money from where she knows I always keep some cash on hand (I'm assimilated into German culture like that, okay?!) without asking me while I was at work. I am NOT amused, even though she returned it the same day. That's a completely new low for her. She's usually much better than that (insofar as she has the grace to ASK to borrow money).

Bloody hell. It snowed today.

So naturally now my elbow feels like there's a needle stuck in there.

Lost out on the sales job. Felt like I was cheated in that interview.

Good news is I have a job lined up to help develop a new covid 19 diagnostics test. Got past first interview and they moving quickly so second and final round on Monday. Problem is they want me to present my past work and I can’t present my old job cause they kept all the data so I have to present my PhD and fuck I’m rusty. I have to learn it myself again

Really nasty headache. :(

I've been getting this sort every few weeks recently rather than once a year maybe. It's the "can't tolerate light, feels like being stabbed in the top of the back of the eyeballs, extremely tight thumping temples" one. Probably should get off the computer. :p

Probably Abyss' mind wipes are having a cumulative effect. I'm like Deborah Farentino in the original MiB. Except a dude. And not hot. :(
Not that I know anything interesting though. Or at least, not any more.

That sounds like migraine territory - do you get any visual disturbance?

Besides the extreme light sensitivity? Sometimes things get a little bit out-of-focus and I can feel a bit dizzy. I'm not even blonde!

Still sounds like it could be a migraine, just without aura - I find the 4head products really good for mine (there are stick on patches and also a forehead rub) as well as traditional painkillers. Hope they ease up though, they sound nasty!
