I try to get up every few hours and get a coke so I don't get bed sores.

It's been rough here too. I spent all day playing video games and eating snickers. Almost got a tummy ache.

Are you OK you poor little sausage?

The stress of choosing what to watch, play or read next must be unbearable. Tough times indeed!

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

It's hard but it's important that we as a people stay strong and persevere.

And then add in the constantly there piles of laundry and dishes. And I feel like my kids follow me around dropping crumbs when I’m sweeping.

It never ends.

Gods yes. All of this. My kids like to "dump" the top boxes too....they don't just want pick out some toys to play with, they want to turn them upside down...all...the...time.

I've started working from home this week after 7 weeks of paternity leave and I'm feeling the knackering too. I can only imagine how much more difficult it will be if she was older, or she had a sibling.

I've been asked to go in from next week for at least 1-2 days a week to coordinate recovery planning for the hospital. So the learning curve will only get steeper.

Job hunt is not going well. I was very confident a month ago and was lining up a lot of interviews for early april and than they all cancelled.

Now not sure how the future will pan out.

Apparently sometime early this morning the fire alarm at my work went off, but since I was the first one, and one of the only people, coming in this morning, the lights are still flashing because no one came to turn it off.

WTF are you doing still hungover at midday on a Wednesday - the precise middle of the working week?

If I was mean I'd say something like he's Irish so it's not that unusual but I'm not so I won't.

Could also say that you're an Aussie so I'm surprised you're not hungover or currently drinking but I wouldn't stoop that low...

It's a good thing you're above that then.

Haven't you heard of the COVID alcohol purchasing restrictions? My weekend stash ran out midday on Tuesday. Most un-Australian.
How is a man supposed to survive on only 2 cases a day?
Next thing I'll have to (ugh) talk to my family. They're why I drink!

Damn you, virus!

I thought it was illegal to be sober over there? How do they get around that?

Poker night last night. Then zoom call with cause, KL and bogildegore like 5am to bed. Ugh.

Fairly sure if we had a dog house I would be in it right now.

Nope.

Crashed out 5th in the weekly game with the boys, placed for $20 in the free tourney I played after and then proceeded to play a load of random quick sit and goes. Mixed bag but overall down. Still up as I won last week's weekly game.

But man was I playing some bad drunk poker last night. Those wee games do not suit my drink and fold style at all hah!

Oof, well you can't win them all. At least it sounds like a fun time.

Package stolen from my front door yesterday. It wasn't important, just a new wah pedal. But I'm still furious.
