'some wear and tear, box and instructions not included.'
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

last full week before chrimbo and the slowdown has really begun. i have five boxes of chocallates across from me, i say boxes but 2 are massive tins, 1 is a long tube and tghe others are big goodie bags. i have the willpower of a demented goldfish as well so look like violet out of charlie and the chocolate factory at the moment with a combo of hot tea and chocolate roange foaming out of my mouth
roll on christmas.
oh and i am practising for my first ever archery competition this saturday and nearly died last friday night but my superb skills at driving saved me from certain death in horrendous rain.
all in all i am pretty miserable. BAH HUMBUG!!!

Went to see Public Enemy last night.
I was so afraid it would suck, as most hiphopconcerts do, imho... 1.5 hour wait for the uninspired roadie to put the water bottles in place, 15 minutes of trashtalk by an unknown mc about how we're going to see the one and only motherfucking masters and aren't worth their spit, followed by a megalomaniac announcement that once again proclaims we're lowly suckers and then barely 50 minutes of uninspired concert before they walk of stage again, you know the drill.
Turns out I was completely wrong. The obligatory shoutouts and 'we love Amsterdam's asides, they filled over 2 hours and at a crazy pace, too, did the entire 'it takes a nation of millions...' record. Woot.

Hurrah.
Well - a pretty tired hurrah, but nevertheless still happy.
My Daughter was finally born on the 30/11 - 2 wks late, but safe and sound. Tis good fun being a Dad...lots of presents, free beer and stuff like that...
Pity I have to come back to work!!

Another christmas do that I forgot about until the day it was due to happen. Admittedly, I piked out and came home early but it was good and I will still be able to work tomorrow.
And after a whole day of sitting around waiting, I finally have my visa for going to work in the US.
AND (this is the best one) Hedge got us tickets to see AC/DC at Wembley Stadium next summer!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Free ticket to the Seahawks/Jets game tomorrow! Normally I couldn't be bothered to go to a Seahawks game, but this will probably be my only chance to see the immortal Favre play.
Of course, now I need to figure out the dumb bus system to get to and from downtown tomorrow. I'm no good a this kind of stuff. I see myself missing the game because I didn't know where to get off. And we're getting a ton of snow tonight, ad my cold weather gear is sadly lacking.

Christening my new office space with the first of many cups of tea! Ahhh, new furniture. It all smells so new. Now, how to position my computer so that I can post on the forums while still looking busy......

I resolved a complex timeline issue between GotM and DhG today, and all without putting on pants. That's making me very happy!

Got RotCG today.

Life is good.

Looks like this temp job is goign to go on for a while and quite possibly become permanent
And I finally get paid today! Woo! Monies!
Also catching up with Sombra over this Christmas break was cool
And I have my house to myself which is fun, though I am much more aware of strange noises right now.
And I had an awesome chate with my mum and she is really excited about stuff in her life, which is just nice
