Hurrah.

Well - a pretty tired hurrah, but nevertheless still happy.

My Daughter was finally born on the 30/11 - 2 wks late, but safe and sound. Tis good fun being a Dad...lots of presents, free beer and stuff like that...

Pity I have to come back to work!!

well done :D

Another christmas do that I forgot about until the day it was due to happen. Admittedly, I piked out and came home early but it was good and I will still be able to work tomorrow.

And after a whole day of sitting around waiting, I finally have my visa for going to work in the US.

AND (this is the best one) Hedge got us tickets to see AC/DC at Wembley Stadium next summer!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

Free ticket to the Seahawks/Jets game tomorrow! Normally I couldn't be bothered to go to a Seahawks game, but this will probably be my only chance to see the immortal Favre play.

Of course, now I need to figure out the dumb bus system to get to and from downtown tomorrow. I'm no good a this kind of stuff. I see myself missing the game because I didn't know where to get off. And we're getting a ton of snow tonight, ad my cold weather gear is sadly lacking.

Christening my new office space with the first of many cups of tea! Ahhh, new furniture. It all smells so new. Now, how to position my computer so that I can post on the forums while still looking busy......

I resolved a complex timeline issue between GotM and DhG today, and all without putting on pants. That's making me very happy!

Looks like this temp job is goign to go on for a while and quite possibly become permanent :p And I finally get paid today! Woo! Monies!

Also catching up with Sombra over this Christmas break was cool :p

And I have my house to myself which is fun, though I am much more aware of strange noises right now.

And I had an awesome chate with my mum and she is really excited about stuff in her life, which is just nice :p

What's making me happy right now? Only 5 days until I'm 18! Then I can drink and drive legally (not at the same time, of course). Happy times.

-MTS, doesn't get the government's policy on the 18th birthday...

MTS - Cleary you aren't in QLD, we can drive before most of the other states here I believe. When I got my licence you could get your L-plates at 16.5 and P-plates at 17, I think that has been put back by 6 months now, but we can still definately get our licences before 18 :p You also get the joys of voting! Woo :p

Oh and happy birthday for 5 days time :p

Nah, I'm from Geelong a.k.a. the biggest hole with the best afl team (hawthorn got lucky... :p ). NSW and ACT can also get their P-plates at 17 I believe. Us Victorians have to wait till 18, and clock 120 hours...sigh. And voting will be great! I'll be voting for our local (Liberal?) MP, Cheeseman.

*Waves dismissively* please, we had an off day. And hawthorn kept rushing behinds, stalling the passage of play! THEY'RE the pussies, not geelong. Mooney kicking like a spastic didn't help though...

Making me happy, I'm back in Manchester :p And it only took four hours to drive, not a single piece of traffic the whole way :p

A Bomber fan from Manchester? How fitting. Red Devils, you are... :p

On topic: Happy that Hayden didn't go out horrendously in the cricket. Here's hoping he continues his lucky streak tomorrow (or today, rather. lol)

Keep the old place in good order for me, Brood! I won't be back until April. I left yesterday and have finally made it to New Jersey. I'm happy because it is finally all sorted out and I'm here in my apartment and work is really nice and now that I'm here, every new day is a day closer to going home :p And I'm really close for going to play in NYC. Although, I have no tv so I think my productivity is going to sky rocket! I might even manage to finish TTH which I lugged all the way here.
