Second stage job interview tomorrow - after a really good first stage and strings being pulled to get me in on the first day available. Feeling good vibes about the job and really hoping this second stage goes as well as the first, because it would be such a lifter to be able to get out of the current job!

Record high temps here last week, which normally I would post to the Messing with vibe thread, but this morning woke up to snow in the foothills of the front range and chilly... it's June 9th. Oh and with the lessening of coronavirus restrictions, ski slopes are allowed to reopen.

Went to the gym for the first time in 3 months. Surprisingly I was not as weak as I expected. I've got that satisfying post workout lassitude.

Now comes the wait for the DOMS. I'll probably be posting in the messing with groove thread tomorrow that I am unable to move.

Aye and it's always terrible when you return after a long absence and mistakingly think you can just train with the same weight and intensity as when you stopped.

Another thing about Cadbury chocolate. It's established that it's terrible and it should be a criminal act to sell such poison to the masses. But if you let that shit go stale, and believe me it goes stale in only a few days, the flavor gets precipitously worse.

I have received job offer! Not the one I was hoping for but not bad. Gonna see if I can light a fire under the other companies I have finished final rounds with by saying it’s now or never.

This is also a lie.

Once opened keep it in the fridge.

Things that go stale are better than shit that stays "fresh" for eternity (excepting honey)

Here's the upside. You know how they say to keep chocolate away from dogs, it's poisonous to them? Well, even fresh, just bought from the counter Cadbury chocolate; the most lowly, mangiest, flea bitten, starving junk yard dog will not touch. A dog would rather eat his own shit than go near Cadbury. *mic-drop

Continuing with the Cadbury facts: did you know if you drop a Cadbury chocolate in your cats' litter box, they will try to bury it like it is one of their turds? #CadburyFacts
