Yah, I don't even like the South Park guys too much and still thought Book of Mormon was great.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Well, the salary increase I requested back in August came through. Not the entire thing, I get about half of what I asked for, which comes down to about a 15% increase overall. Which is pretty damn awesome all on its own. In addition though, since I didn't get the full increase they decided to give me a promotion instead. I am now the senior legal adviser. While also being the youngest in the office. This is really really awesome, but I can't really talk about it at the office, so you guys will have to be my outlet Posted ImagePosted Image

I was listening to my favourite star wars podcast and they read out my email! That's just so... nerdy, I don't think I can even tell anyone, but it made me stupidly happy hearing them discuss!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Went on a impromptu date with a girl (who I was going to see on Friday) after my train broke down on Thursday and I wasn't bothered to wait 45 mins at the station which resulted in me later that evening breaking a glass in a pub as I was busy making out with her, we met the next day as well and spent quite awhile making out in various different pubs and street corners. After a very long dry spell am quite optimistic about how this will end. Posted ImagePosted Image

Congrats sappers!

I jumped a horse for the first time in well over a year tonight. I had suspected my teacher was leading up to this as she had me doing pole work last lesson, but it still felt brilliant. I've only been back on a horse around two months, so this is a big step! So pleased!

You ... pole vaulted over a horse?

Fair enough. That's quite agile.

It's not the traditional way to tackle showjumping, granted, but I'm a bit maverick :)

A friend of mine belongs to this WhatsApp group and gets sent all sorts of funny and disgusting videos. One day, presumably because he had suffered and wanted others to suffer he showed me one of these videos of two men 'rosebudding'. I had no idea what I was seeing but 5 seconds was enough to know I had seen too much and my brain would never be the same.

I brought it up in complaint in front of my sister and a gay friend of mine when we were all out to go see Matilda at the theatre. My gay friend without missing a beat is just like 'oh you mean rosebudding' and that's how we had a name for the horror.

Anyway the pay off of the story is my sister is sitting at work one day (she is VP at a school) and curiosity overwhelms her and she decides to find out what Rosebudding is and why I was so horrified. Few hours later the IT head of the school is telling the principal she needs to talk to the kids (primary school) because they are using the computers to look up porn. My sister is just keeping quite and has learnt a valuable lesson. IT cant tell its her but they can see what she does on her private work laptop.

Rather surprisingly to us both, our son arrived last night! Little bit earlier than expected but we are overjoyed! My wife is an absolute hero and has done wonderfully.

Congrats Tiste. Enjoy the little tiny tiddler phase, it's over in a flash. How early was he?

Everyone's having babies right now. I'm broody as hell.
