I'm in Cyprus, for half term break. Just spent afternoon snorkelling and digging weird and pretty creatures out from under rocks, in a quiet sandy bay while the kids played on the beach.
Back in hotel; fish night at restaurant, I am now stuffed with a large variety of fresh fish, seafood and wine. It's still 25°. I'm now drinking gin in tbe bar while my boy beats me at Star Wars Rebels Top Trumps. (Why the heck has Kallus got a higher Use of the Force rating than an Inquisitor?)
Take that, Autumn.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

That is a beautiful and majestic bird!
Thanks - he's a red kite/black kite hybrid. As far as we know he's the only one in the UK (he was an accident) - he's one of my two favourite birds at the centre, and spent all morning trying to eat that time turner necklace I'm wearing.

I no longer have to worry about cleaning up fresh cat piss and shit!
Time to go get some Pine sol and scrub.

It's the phone camera paling everything out - the scarf is red and yellow. It's a Gryffindor jumper too (I was playing Hermione). House points allocated correctly!

Ahhhhhh SNAP! McDonald's is bringing back the McRib.
Sure it's bovine bio-waste swirled together with chemicals manufactured in a lab, and shaped in the form of short-ribs to produce the sweet sweet flavor of bbq awesomeness, but having one can't do that much damage right? Maybe take a year or two off your life? (I can live with that). Just wish it was available around St. Patrick's day, so it could be pared with a Shamrock shake.

Inktober is over and I managed to keep up for once instead of falling behind and giving up after a few days
Also, yesterday I managed to jot down and plan a big chunk of the plot of a comic I've been planning for YEARS and for which I was unable to manage to get the individual plot points into a good, sense making order somehow. Still no idea how I want it to end, but I at least now know more than previously for sure!

They make green Cadbury "Screme" eggs for Halloween, but I never see them in stores.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
