Rather surprisingly to us both, our son arrived last night! Little bit earlier than expected but we are overjoyed! My wife is an absolute hero and has done wonderfully.

Ahhhhh! So exciting! Congratulations to both of you. Being new parents is such a blessing and rewarding experience. So pleased for you!

Thanks all, we've survived the first night and I now mostly know how to put a happy on so it's all good.

Just you wait till they can wriggle, twist and turn whilst you try it. Not to mention getting up and walking away the little buggers.

Had my first foot-in-the-shitty-nappy for a good 6 months this afternoon.

Congrats Tiste hope everything goes well from here on-wards Posted ImagePosted Image
For myself I had a very nice weekend, third date went well, we went to see the Freddie Mercury movie Posted ImagePosted Image. Only downside was when I got home I went to my local and I noticed they had Hop House (beer) on tap now and seems I was the only one who got a pint of it all week as it was a very rough pint Posted ImagePosted Image. Spent the rest of the weekend just relaxing which was nice.

Congratulations, Tiste! Now you can finally justify your terrible terrible dad jokes.

Sometimes the centre gets really nice thank you emails or Tripadvisor reviews where the staff get a mention by name. The owners just forwarded me one they received today about the Harry Potter weekend, from a couple thanking all the staff for looking after their daughter who was visually impaired, but mentioning me ("the lady playing Hermione") particularly because I spent a bit of time with her and gave her my Time Turner necklace at the end of the day (I picked a girl dressed as Hermione both days to give one to, just as a bit of a nice thing to do).

My god, genuinely just sat at my desk nearly in tears reading it. I guess you don't realise the potentially huge impact what is only a small moment of patience or kindness from you can have on another person, particularly children. Warm and fuzzy! ;)

Tiste you are now officially too old for this shit. Congrats!

Congrats Tiste, great news!
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Jeeezus. No f’ing way I’m allowing politics to be brought up.

Last time I tried talking politics with a family member it went like this.

Family member: I don’t care what a president has done, all I care about is the economy.

Me: So what’d you think of Obama?

FM: I hated him.

Me: Why?

FM: He was a pussy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
