Damn, looks like the bin dippers may get a title after all. :no

It's a shame because one of the few shining lights in this awful period was enjoying the thought of so many LFC fans crushing disappointment. :D

Yes, I am a dreadful person. But in my fence it's not like they're human, after all ... ;)

You know what?

At this stage I would *nearly* rather they fucked it off this season and we crush is again next year. Just to really piss the snarkers off

Nah, not going to happen. Look at what happened to Leicester. Lightning in a bottle and all that.

Hasn't there been a number of EPL players who have tested positive for coronavirus? This seems premature and rushed to me.

Not sure about EPL, but in La Liga and Serie A teams needed to test all players and staff before they were allowed to even resume training. So I'd assume Prem followed a similar process.

What the wut! The Premier League returns this Wednesday?! Damn, I've been so out of following sports that this snuck up on me. So, they gonna continue the season and have the table standings where things were pre shut down and finish the normal schedule of things? Or are they doing something different? I'm guessing it's a no brainer that Liverpool will win it, yeah?

Any marquee matches to bring this back online? To really get the fans back into the excitement? I think I saw Tottenham vs Man. U & Man. City vs Arsenal set for Wednesday.

Yeah man city v arsenal is tomorrow to get us underway. As an Arsenal fan I'm torn between delight at seeing them play again against the horror of having to see them being torn apart by Pep's merry band of magicians... Still, bit of variation from the bundesliga!

Catching some of the Aston Villa vs Sheffield United match. So they are pumping in crowd noise. Do they have one of those shitty Euro DJs with a deck programmed with the crowd sounds, instead of headache inducing fat beats? And they know which buttons to push to make the crowd sounds relevant to the play on the pitch?

Bloody hell, that was a massive fuckup. A simple replay from any angle shows it, but somehow the tech didn't?

The VAR ref should be allowed to stop the on-field ref and say "Hang on, stop the clock - lets take a look at that."

Yeah, bonkers. I wanted VAR to be used like NFL coach's challenges, give more agency to the coach/manager.

Still raging about the injustice of it all. Those 2 points could drop us out of Europe.

Villa should of given us an honour goal, like the one they benefitted from against Leeds last year.

Hate any ruddy team that plays in claret and blue.

Good to see high level corruption is still thriving in Uefa.

City ban overturned, but they still get a £10m fine.
So they're not guilty, but are still paying the fine for the fucking craic of it?

Apparently (from what little I've read yet) it was mainly down to the time scale involved, Uefa left it too long as it dates 2012 - 2016 so a lot of the accusations were time-barred.

They did say that City were unhelpful in the investigation and didn't assist Uefa but there wasn't enough evidence to convict.

More to come I guess...

Sarina Wiegman named England WNT new head coach. I hear tell she coached the Netherlands. I always thought Neville was capable, but I believe the results with him at the helm were below expectations.

What say you futbol fr33ks? Good move? Gonna see a step up in competitiveness from the Lionesses?

I'd say competitive wise there's a Lack from grass roots up, this needs to be addressed far more than the management side of things. Neville came in without high pedigree and has done a decent enough job but you can only piss with the cock you're given

Bloody hell, 8-2. Way past time for a drastic overhaul at Barca.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

The delicious part is, if Bayern win the CL Barca have to give us £5m as an add on for Coutinho.
