Maybe the mods can serialize the prologue in this selfsame thread... one paragraph at a time, spread over many many many future pages... so that each one of us poor slobs (who has too much time anyway) can while away days hunting for the next bit of the prologue through a pile of 'aarghs' and 'ouch'es

Does anyone think this synopsis sounds very un Erikson. Dunno just doesnt grab e or provide any info bout the book. Also looks to be a very Kruppe orientated book which im not sure ill like

Bard: Duiker, I think.

I blame computer RPG's. Thanks to them I think of bards as that useless class whose principal offensive power is singing a motivating ballad.

Easy way I remember - Shakespeare is always called "The Bard". And he isn't famous for his singing voice.
