If we vote FOR Clandestine Operations, do we think that would help slow down/hinder IH a bit, or make it worse for the rest of us to try and slow/hinder IH a bit?

Why would anyone be trying to slow/hinder me when the real threat is CLEARLY twelve, you can't even see what his units are doing as they are off the board!
Happy new year everyone!

Maybe if we all agree that IH is not a threat tatts will finally chose to pressure him in some way.

man, I can't believe how bad that round went from me. I have never as far as I can remember fallen so fast from "I think I am going to win this" to "well fuck"

I have been feeling that way since the first 2 VP objective was revealed.
Even my "Oh well, let's raise hell instead" attempt was completely overshadowed by ehm, not knowing how the Ceasefire PN works. (Khell eating all the spread out elements of my fleet didn't help, either).
Well, anyone wants to buy a handful of votes for the TG policy?

Happy New Year!
So if Clandestine Operations goes AGAINST, does anyone actually lose any significant ships?

Probably on the Trade one for me, but not decided yet. Thinking about FOR on the second one. What do you think?

Honestly I just plain don't think these agendas will make any difference at all.

I've put my votes in, but if anyone wants to buy them for the minister of commerce agenda I'm open to selling 18 votes

No surprise, IH takes Imperial.
He probably can't achieve << Have structures on 5 planets outside of your home system. >>, so he'll go for playing IMPERIAL on his very first turn and score << Control 2 planets that have attachments. >> for 13, then he scores << Spend 5 trade goods. >> in status phase to win, unless Morgoth or Tatts can actually take his homeworld.
Hence, it is critical someone takes away MR before his first turn if we want to all not lose.
I think it may take combined efforts to dislodge him from MR. So if you're willing to throw a few ships at it to soften up the defenses but can't commit to a big attack, pick an early strategy card so you can do that before the big attack.
Also, I think NO ONE should pick CONSTRUCTION so IH has like zero chance to score << Have structures on 5 planets outside of your home system. >>

Sorry, I forgot to say that I’m on a short holiday before my teaching semester begins. I’ll be back tomorrow, but I’ll see if I can make a quick decision now.
