Uhm, that certainly makes construction look a lot more tempting.

My predictions is that construction will be picked the first 4 rounds
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Let me know what you guys think of the map layout.

I tried to make it so that you can find most of the information you need when figuring out your turn directly on the map. That means I've included racial agent/commander/heroes as well as Faction Sheets. The table order is from top to bottom for Strategy Selection - so it goes from whoever is speaker (Khell) to the bottom (IH), then back to the top (Drek) to the person before the speaker (Twelve). This will remain the table order throughout the game despite where you are on the map.

Please let me know if you think there's too much stuff on the map file (particularly those who mostly play by phone). If so, we can maybe figure something else out.

Seems alright to me. Bit of looking back-and-forth with the player boards/refinrocements all to one side, but it's no big deal.

I find the VP tracker dauntingly oversized though. These numbers are bigger than entire planets!

You could drop the wormhole nexus into one of the corners of the map to get rid of the whole left margin area to reduce resolution if necessary.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Before I go to bed; IH! I’m pretty sure we can find an easy accord, we’re not as close at things would look at first glance

Yes I think so, I've not had time to look at the map properly but I imagine you are fairly satisfied with your slice.

Tatts seems eager to provoke a conflict between us, but honestly I'd prefer to do a sftt swap and agree some defined borders then get into a conflict. Early game I'm probably your worst foe, and likewise late game you are mine.

Tatts we have a lot of equidistant systems, and have clearly been set up in a 3 way royal rumble, so an agreement on borders would be good. As the muaat I'm very CT hungry, so I would be interested in your racial and forming a trading relationship.

Looking at the planets which are equidistant between us all tatts and morgoth:
Hope's end is effectively a 5 resource planet (with 2 resources worth of mech production a turn/an action card worth 1.5 resources)
Quann is worth 2 resources but gives morgoth a route out of his isolated corner not through the two of us, so is probably more valuable to him
And primor is effectively worth 3 resources.

Morgoth has a 12 resource slice, I have a 9 resource slice and tatts has a 10 resource slice.

Morgoth having quann and another route out of his fortress other than through us makes sense to me, and then tatts and I need to come to an agreement over who gets hope's end and primor. Whoever gets hope's end I think needs to make a concession to the other players for equities sake if unfairness isn't to cause a quarrel.

I am happy to leave Quann to Morgoth and Primor to you IH. I have the alpha wormhole to the North West if I choose to want to expand.

In terms of where we meet I won't contest you for Cormund as Rifts are you bag.

Lodor however, I see as a way to the rest of the galaxy. Would you be happy to own it but leave it empty?

Yeah but I'm not happy ceding the much better system hope's end (it's worth at least two resources a turn more than primor) without some benefits for myself, and my warsun means if we fight over it early game I'm going to win.

What value do you assign to your agent and racial? Potentially we can come to a deal.

I have no particular need for Quann, though it is a practical system. Hope's end is a very attractive system, but I can accept a deal where it is outside of my posession. Primor though is an absolute necessity. It synergises very well with my race and it leaves me access towards MR and the rest of the galaxy. It is the reason I picked my position.

Without Primor I would be completely stuck where I am, and being the Sardakk that is not workable. Hope's end is the better planet, but I can agree for that to go to you IH, or to tatts, without a fight from me, as it serves no other strategic purpose for me.

Well it seems we are at an impasse then, I'd possibly settle for primor, but from a weaker starting position settling for quann seems foolish, so I'd want hope's end.

I have no issue with that. We have otuer things to offer between the three of us. I have a powerfull alliance for instance. You’ll get the best part of this deal though, you still have access westward without Primor, and now you get Quann and Hope’s end too.

The two of you have options and abilities that makes it possible to grow in many ways. I do not have that, the Sardakk are and war alone. There is a limit on how flexible it is possible for me to be without sabotaging my ability to be a presence of any note in this game. This way you get a friendly and trade willing Sardakk who will spend his time being threatening and draining resources from other parts of the galaxy.
