Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, good Empire folk.

Not much happening here, since we don't celebrate until the 6th; just enjoying the time off, being gloriously lazy, catching up on reading and doing some organizing/data backup. My plan is to finally put together all the shiny new PC parts I bought sometime in the coming week.

Tomorrow probably gonna go gawk at all the Boxing Day shoppers, before heading out to chill with some friends for a board game night; no New Year plans yet, so might actually spend some time with the family for once, not something I've done for years.

Merry Christmas everyone! I've been feeling completely overwhelmed, and I'm bummed that I can't go train tomorrow, since I'll be going away to family over the day, but I'll enjoy that too. Otherwise having a wonderful holiday.
I'm just happy I managed to pull myself together and clean my apartment and decorate and make the food and Christmas candy and everything... *phew*

My first one with snow, sorta. Technically no snow today. But it’s snowed before and will snow again soon.

I was tooooootally going to login last night for this but drank way too much moonshine eggnog and passed out ^_^ Then we started this morning with mimosas and some amaaaazing sausages that came straight from a farm down the road. What's everyone else been eating/drinking?!

Christmas was awesome. The kids are way too much candy and took forever to go to bed. Now we’re sitting around talking, sipping whiskey, coffee, and eating Christmas pudding.

The best? No work tomorrow.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Apparently whisk(e)y stones have only been around since 2007 and come basically in soapstone or stainless steel (with gel cores).
I don't get it though - why don't you just put the bottle in the fridge? Chill the glasses as well? Like you do for decent vodka.

You don't want to chill it too much. Chilling the glasses would probably work. I dunno maybe it's me but I don't see the need to chill it at all but you're from a country so hot it's basically a suburb of the sun so maybe you need it colder?
