That spinoff could be called Raisin' Bran.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

The show was terribly compromised from the start. They should redo it all as anime:

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

GAME OF GAME OF GAME OF GAME OF GAME OF GAME OF THRONES!!!!!
Great, now that's stuck in my head. Oh well, at least there's plenty of spare room up there for it to echo around in.

Uh, yeah, probably a good idea this was cut, knowing what we know now about the final season.
'Game Of Thrones' writers cut battle with 50 direwolves from season 8
I wonder if this is going to happen in the books though? Nymeria's pack roaming the Riverlands comes to the battle? Or Bran wargs into multiple and controls them to join the battle?

Just a few moments of that could have been a huge improvement.
Especially if Arya had been reunited with Nymeria, only to see her die. That would have made her killing the Night King much more meaningful.

“There were many things that happened, that people would have been so happy to have happen,” he told the Filmmaker Toolkit podcast. “Attack of direwolves and crazy stuff. At some point you’re like, ’50 direwolves attacking an undead dragon does not a good movie make.’"

The CGI could have been really baaaaaaaaaad. Also, it was supposed to be in the episode everyone bitched about not being able to see anything, so it probably was in there anyway. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

Script reveals Drogon's motivation in melting the throne:
'Emmy nominated scripts are made available online, and with the series finale of Game of Thrones, titled “The Iron Throne” getting nominated, the script followed soon.
[... From the script:]
“Drogon wants to burn the world, but he will not kill Jon. He breathes fire on the back wall, blasting down what remains of the great red blocks of stone. We look over Jon’s shoulder as the fire sweeps toward the throne – not the target of Drogon’s wrath, just a dumb bystander caught up in the conflagration.”'
Well that's that.
I hope the guy who's done the audiobooks lives long enough to finish them (maybe they can make an AI version of his voices?... with amplifiable emotions...).

It sucks when a pet messes up your favorite chair. My sister's cat peed on the recliner and it stank so bad.

Just read that Max von Sydow has passed (90 years old). The last thing I saw him in was Game of Thrones in role of Three-Eyed Raven, and he was excellent.
He had a great career, and was in so much great stuff. Here is one I remember.

Fuck man. Actor Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) has COVID-19. I know he recently joined the cast of The Witcher.

Putting this here because I think it is of interest to most of you GoT fans. I guess I could have put it in one of the book discussion threads also, but those seemed to be mostly dead. So I'm guessing placing this post here will reach more eyes *questionmark ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway, a show that airs here in the U.S. (not sure if it is seen in other countries) called Forged in Fire will have an episode tonight where the final challenge is for the final two contestants standing to forge a replica of Arya Stark's sword, Needle. I'll be interested to see what tests they have planned - kill, strength and sharpness. Hopefully they put on a fun theme for it. Should be a fun distraction in these self-isolating times.

Well that'll be nice compared to the firemen's utility tool from last ep.

Kind of pretentious, but I'll give it a gander.
