So is the Book of Fett a actually Mando season 3, or is it a short spin off that will run into season 3 of Mando?

I waited all day Friday at work to watch it; got home and we had people round for drinks and food in the garden. By the time everyone left, I fired up Disney plus, watched first scene... and realised I was way too drunk to appreciate it!

So I watched it with the kids, hungover, first thing this morning. It was so good - a fitting ending to the 'search' storyline. I need to watch it again on my own when I'm feeling less nauseous.

I guess we'll get Mandalore next...

The Jedi, having forsaken the material things in life talked about is battered old mini that hardly worked any more. The three of them agreed that it was a Bad Car.

Then the Mandalorian launched upwards on his jetpack, used his missiles to blow up the other two vehicles before landing. They agreed it was the Beskar.

I'd like to think he gets taken by Luke to Dagobah at some point. Or is reunited with Din.

Ha, yeah they wont get away with changing the ST, but I believe some work could be done to lead into it in a better way, and who knows, ultimately give it more depth.

I watched The Rescue again last night. Absolutely amazing how it ties in ALL the different eras.

I think that events at the end have made a lot of people overlook one detail - Grogus blood sample. It wasnt used for the Darktroopers as we found out they're droids. They reiterated that Pershing is the Empires top Clone specialist. Surely this has got to be linked to Palpatines return? There's only one big Imperial clone project going on at that time...

..would that ultimately mean Rey is linked by blood to Grogu?

I actually think that they will just ignore the ST now. There's no real reason to visit it, with 20 years between MANDO and then...lost of play space without touching those events. And none of the actors seem to want anything to do with pushing any further forward.

Also, the Lego Star Wars Holiday special (which seems to be canon?) on D+ has Rey training Finn as a Jedi...so that's at least cool, but I wish we'd seen it in the Sequels.

Yep, they are trying up that loose end and giving whoever was in charge after Operation Cinder (which got a mention on MANDO) the wherewithal to not only clone Palpy, but perhaps infuse those clones with high Midi counts...which might explain Rey's high level of deftness in the Force since she's from him...it's not perfect, but I fail to see another reason for the Imperial Remnant to want it.

Anyway I’m actually disappointed that I have given five min to this but I find myself quite curious. That said she has a history of divisive tweets so I don’t think it was about one tweet in a vacuum


Edit- okay I see the link in this thread has the full post. I would say it’s a strangely hyperbolic and ignorant things to say but it’s not actually offensive? Although I guess she is comparing liberals or democrats to nazis?

Here’s the thing. It really doesn’t matter what tweet triggered the firing. If Disney decides she’s a liability for their profits, she’s done. They are a private business who answer to shareholders. They call the shots. Sometimes those shots are shitty, sometimes not....this was not a shitty time. They made the right call.
