Damn, that penalty to give Juve the win (and Ronaldo the hat-trick) seemed rather suspicious to me. Makes me scratch my head.

Man. City on the other hand poured it on. Not sure if that goal bukkake they sprayed all over Schalke is a good gauge of how they seem to be peaking at the right time, but man, it can't hurt.

They're unplayable at their best. Schalke was easily the softest draw in the 16, but still. This is Citehs chance to win it I feel

Ajax!
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Booooo! My Spurs drew Man City. We're fuh'ked. I guess there is a familiarity between the two teams that may prove helpful though, right? Posted Image

Damn, there are 4 EPL teams in the Champions League quarter finals. Has that happened before?

Looks like Liverpool got the best draw. I'm booking their ticket to the semis, 100%. Agree? or No?

Yeah good news. Be interesting to see how, if at all, the dynamic changes now.

Huddersfield relegated, making them the joint earliest team to ever be relegated from the PL (tied with Derby County a few years back).

My Spurs gonna pop the cherry on their new stadium Wednesday. Should be fun. Any you 'soccer heads' going? What's the 4-1-1 on the new home? Is it a futuristic, state of the art, football entertainment mecca?

its a pretty impressive place.

some of the guys here were involved in the corporate areas, they said it was a shambles on the construction side, but they've been there for the test games, and said its very impressive now its complete.

other news. that's fulham gone, I imagine Cardiff will complete the relegation trio

Wow, the supporter stands in the new stadium is something to behold on a 4k television. Damn, I may have to consider a future vacation to have the experience in person. If any of you 'soccer heads' attend a match, please do give us the full description on what a wonder that live experience is. Could that stadium be in the discussion as the 8th Wonder of the World? Well, Spurs take 1st leg win. Only one goal. Don't have much confidence that will see them through.

Damn, Spurs and Man City have to play each other a lot over the next few weeks.

Kane out as well, that's a big blow for Tottenham and England.

That was signature Messi, through and through. I still contend he has the best feet in all of football, with Mo Salah a close second.

Totally chuffed to bits to see Juve (and pretty boy, look at my perfect abs) eliminated. Come on Ajax!

One of my favourite tweets so far:

This Ajax team should be made a UNESCO world heritage site to stop the rich clubs buying all their players

Sadly Frenkie de Jong is already going to Barca next season and De Ligt and Van de Beek are key targets for the rich elites of the footballing world as well. Luckily there are already a bunch of promising youngsters waiting in the wings. And I cannot see experienced players like Ziyech, Tadic and Schone leave.
