This show had me the moment I realized that Black Hole Sun was playing on the piano, lol.
Tatts early in SH game: Hmm, so if I'm liberal I should have voted Nein to make sure I'm president? I'm not that selfish

Tatts later in SAME game: I'm going to be a corrupt official. I have turned from my liberal ways, and now will vote against the pesky liberals. Viva la Fascism.
When Venge's turn comes, he will get a yes from Mess, Dolmen, Nevyn and Venge but a no from the 3 fascists and me. **** with my Government, and i'll **** with yours

Yeah, one of the things i enjoy about this show is trying to figure out the songs playing on the piano.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

I usually don't spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. Usually I'm watching attentively, then suddenly realize I know it. A lot of them I don't know but so far

Black Hole Sun
Fake Plastic Trees
Something I can Never Have
and
House of the Rising Sun

have just jumped right out at me. Its a cool little extra of the show, and they all blend into the background better than you'd think.

Radio Head? I've not reco any of them. Someone needs to make a vid of it

I think there have been at least 2 radiohead so far. I was googling and I think Fake Plastic Trees was the second because they mentioned a newer one I don't know.

Fake Plastic Trees I believe was the piano the first time they started showing Maeve waking up for the day instead of Dolores.

Fake Plastic Trees jumped right out at me - perhaps a little too obvious a theme at the time I thought!

A tad on the nose, but a great rendition of a great song.

I noticed immediately because I think pretty much the first song they use that way (maybe the second? It's in the first episode when the bandits first come to the town) is Paint it Black, a song I couldn't possibly miss. That's easily the one that stood out most to me, wasn't sure if it'd work if every one was that obvious, but thankfully for me they're not and it works really well.

Holy. Fucking. Crap...

That was a majestic hour of TV entertainment.

The way it built up to the reveal''s'' and confirmed, just wow.

This show just gets better and better.

Probably one of my favourite episodes of any show.

I binged this with my friend over the last week or so. There are some very obvious twists with a particular character that were telegraphed as early as the second episode, but what is unusual and likable about this show is how the characters really are willing to be quite mean to each other, even if they like the other person.

I had some concerns about the violence towards women being shown, but every single woman (minus one) has been shown to gain increased agency and ability to affect things in both worlds.

I thought the manipulations between the board and Ford were brilliant. This is a show willing to put that as the C-plot, with the more action-y B and A plots up front, then move that C plot up to affect things majorly. It's quite good and much better written and acted than Game of Thrones.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

So much better. That episode was, for me, the closest that tv has come to giving that feeling you get from a really, really good book. Great build up, great pay-off.

I have quibbles with the major twist in A Well Tempered Clavier, but it's possibly offset by the presence of another character.

I'm kinda surprised by the people significantly favouring it over Game of Thrones. I like this show a lot, but I don't think it's on a different level or anything. Nor to BSG, another show it bears some comparison to (actually it hasn't come anywhere close to the best of BSG, but early days, early days. It hasn't come close to the worst of BSG either).

Maybe because only the last season of Thrones has been a surprise?

I like GoTs, but I've never been on the edge of my seat listening to it like I have been with Westworld. Maybe someone who hadn't read the series first would think differently and maybe had a better experience watching Thrones, but I still find Westworld to be a far better polished product overall.
