I watched that earlier. It looks great but also confusing. I don't remember much from the original Westworld but this seems like a much more elaborate story.

I'm assuming it's going to be a Battlestar Gallactica thing, where nobody knows who is a toaster, but I wonder what the premise is? Some rich people go to Westworld to have a fun experience and they get attacked... and then?

Just noticed that the show is featuring Jimmi Simpson:

I hate this actor with an irrational fervor. He just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. He looks like a mix between a child molester and a person dying from typhoid. Every time I see him in a show I just want him to get stabbed to death.

I am relatively certain that the people casting actors are aware of this and constantly put him on TV to taunt me.

I liked him in "The Breakout Kings".

Yeah but it's got lots of ads in comparison, and it's slightly delayed (except for Game of thrones which they have been been matching the US air time).

The premiere was incredibly tight. If they keep it at this level, it will be much better than GoT. And the orchestral cover of Paint It Black during the shootout was fiyaaaah.

That was one intense opening episode. I am definitely watching the rest of this.

The acting was excellent, the setting deeply fascinating and the hints of depth very intriguing. I mean, what are all those sublevels? Management?

And it's clearly ambitious. There are the obvious plot points, but then there's the underlying... conspiracy? And Ed Harris deciding he quite likes the role of the devil.

Fresh start, I've never seen the film and you soon pick up what is going on at one level.

I like the Ed Harris character switch - in the original Yul Brynner plays the Man in Black, and he's a rouge robot - obviously, this time he's a human. Also, for those that haven't seen the film, there's a medieval world and a roman world - doubt these will feature in the tv show, but would be good.
