Just watched Season 2 episode 1.

Not really sure what constitutes spoilers so I'll just put everything in a box:

If I understood that ending right, we're starting where season 2 will probably end? Bernard's missing 11(?) days start where season 1 ends? At least it seems that way since it seems like cowboy boyfriend was floating in that sea. I can tell this is really going to fuck with me because I bet they will also throw in stuff that occurs after the 11 days passed.

I think they are retconning a bit too much at the start. I think it's silly that the Man in Black survived, but what ever, Ed Harris is awesome. That cowboy outlaw was also gunned down towards the end of season 1. Why didn't all those bullets kill him? Did black bordello lady reprogram his machinery or something?

Am I right in understanding that Anthony Hopkins character is now a ghost in the machine? He was the voice coming out of that boy right? By the way that voice over was terrible. I had to turn on subtitles to understand what the boy was saying.

it flipped to Roberts voice. The machine sound was badly done though.

Need to rewatch that first ep already, just to get the timeflips straight. I'm pretty certain Ford is ghost in the machine now. From what remember from the end of S1, Ford was seen as the enemy of Arnold right until the end, when he revealed to Delores that he knew what Arnold was doing, saw how it would fail, and then improved the plan... the rise to conciousness/centre of the maze, with his new narrative being their rise and rebellion. He's built himself into it as a sort of force ghost by the look.

I'm not sure I like the 'new' Delores yet. I hope they've got something good lined up. Maeve stole the show already imo.

That was a weird ep. Weird like it didn't have any really decent scenes, just more flat monotone from Delores and Bernard stumbling about. I miss Hopkins.

I hope next week picks it up a bit.

Wasn't there a 'Futureworld' movie in the 1970s that was connected to the previous movie - 'Westworld'? So is this suggesting that is where they are taking this?

Damn, I still haven't watched one episode of season 2.

The final scene pertains directly to the end of S2 if I recall what happens correctly. I honestly don't know if I'll go back to this show. S2 was such a convoluted mess.

I watched 2, maybe 3 eps of s2 but left it so I could watch it all at once. Then never got round to it.

This trailer looks so far from the original season one I don't know if I'll be bothered.

Well this trailer came out of nowhere! I'm re-watching S2 and 3 over the time between now and when 4 comes out to recall all that occurred...and it's even better on a re-watch.

Also, I never understood the hate for S2 and 3.

Anyways, bring on S4!

Season 2 was shitty. Season 3 was weird but good. I got lost though on what the hell is exactly going on, and to be honest, not sure if a binge rewatch would make a difference on that account.
