That leaked trailer was amazing (I saw it before Disney took it down)...and I cannot WAIT to watch it in HD when it comes out properly!
But yeah, as the culmination of a 10 year MCU journey...it looks like they may have knocked it right outta the park.

Weird, when I clicked that link before it said video removed due to copyright violations. They must have reloaded a different link.
Anyway, not the greatest look at the trailer, but Thanos looks bad ass. That scene at the end where he lets his infinity gauntlet charge up before striking got me all goose fleshy and excited.

I'm going to chime in with that I also think THOR 2 is FAR superior to THOR 1. Like by a country mile better.
...and I think RAGNAROK looks like a blast!
And D'rek, I think the disco-vibe is a purposeful attempt to replicate some of GOTG's runaway success. And It think it works. Bright, almost garish colour scheme and space seem to fit the MCU well.

Me too, they ham-fisted the whole Thor must find humility amongst the mortals angle. Thor 1 felt incomplete. Thor 2 was better, but still not an excellent movie.
I agree with QT that they are trying to tap into GotG's vibe for Ragnarok. This looks like fun. It also feels like they are ready to show just how much of a badass Thor really is, sitting next to the Hulk and arguing with him without a care in the world...

I know nothing of the comics, is Valkyries sexuality mentioned in the comics?
There was no real reference to it in the film that I noticed

I actually thought she was without knowing that the actress said she was meant to be, although they did go perhaps a bit _too_ soft on making it just normal and made it so normal no-one would notice.

It should be noted, though, that they don't plan on making her have any visible LGBT relationships for the time being, as it's been noted by the MCU team that Valkyrie will be replacing Jane Foster as Thor's love interest going forward....since Natalie Portman is not going to be in any other movies. I thought they'd go with Sif...but apparently her BLINDSPOT schedule kept her out of THOR 3, so she can't do it either, hence Valkyrie as love interest.

I need to find the actual quote, but it was apparently Feige who said it on the back of saying Jane and Thor were no longer together. But yeah, it would be sad to see an LGBT character treated as "love interest" for a straight guy.

So take the LGBT character and shoe horn her into a heteronormal relationship?
Ugh, at least Lady Sif would have made sense, if anything you might see Valkyrie with Banner

Saw Thor: Ragnarok today. It was a lot funnier than expected. I really liked it, and I think Thor got in a lot of character progression

Loved the way they used it.
Also, Benedict Cumberbatch cameo was superb. I am a bit of a fanboy and I loved every second of that.
My SO on the otherhand was grumpy because Thor only spent a few seconds topless.
